  1. Hattingen in Switzerland is the best IMO, Feriduni is great at FUT too but expensive, and then comes Dr Devroye who is also great but his hairlines are very conservative, not for me.
  2. Devroye is one of the best in the world and knows FUT/FUE and BHT with good results. His hairlines are just way too conservative IMO.
  3. Personally I felt it kept on improving until month 10. Month 6 is most likely not the end of your noticeable progress.
  4. That’s awesome man we made the right choice now we can enjoy life normally stay on the meds you are good to go for many many years. You have enough left for a second pass if you want to feel extra safe.
  5. Hi Bill, my final result is here and I no longer experience any new growth. The pimples I still have have been around for months. The others completely went away but those two left a bump as if the hairs continued growing underneath the skin.
  6. Hello everyone, I've been dealing with a few pimples during the growth process, and two are still here to taunt me. I've mailed my surgeon who suggested that I pop them myself or go see a dermatologist, not very helpful. Did some of you go through this? I can't see it on my pictures but my girlfriend told me that there were several hairs coming out of one of the pimples! I feel a bump but they are no longer inflamated.
  7. Promising. Cinik is the best among the cheap guys and I will see him for my last one because he does BHT. Glad I've recommended him to you on another forum
  8. Get a FUT, where do you live? FUT>FUE if you aren't certain you've stabilized your hairloss.
  9. I was grappling right after two weeks, might have been too early. Started taking punches at 45 days.
  10. 11 months and a half It's likely the final result, very satisfied even if a side has a visibly poorer graft survival rate, and I had it coming since the day of the operation. I won't get a second surgery anytime soon, despite the hair greed I can't afford to lose another 8-9 months freaking out at home living like a hermit. Life is too short. I'm very satisfied to have chosen Dr Demirsoy, after those months browsing post-op testimonies online daily I know I could have spend three to four times more money for the same outcome. I know a few patients have chosen this doctor because of my testimony and he deserves the success and more recognition. My whole perception of life has changed. It's incredibly liberating. I would never have done it without the inspiration that some gave me online during my worst years of hair loss related depression. Especially Scorpion/Chinpoko, Highlander, Aames, JohnnyDeath and Mistgeburt.
  11. 9 months, went for a mild straightening procedure, going to cut it differentely, experiment, finally start doing normal things with my hair like the people that take their NW1 for granted. before during: after: The parting reveals another dissapointing area due to a couple lagging pimples but I'm still satisfied.
  12. Very sunny day so I took a couple pics outside, at 8months and a half post-op. indoors: I had pimples on my shitty areas, did not want to treat them too agressively. The donor area
  13. 8 months post-op. Cloudy day, couldn't get the best lightning for the monthly selfies. I think it's almost the final result, I may enjoy some more thickening over the nest couple months but I can start to draw conclusions. It still looks better week after week, but maybe it's just the length. I think I should have started with a FUT to get a better yield and to exploit my donor area better. The density is meh if you take a honest look, but that's the norm with a first FUE. I'd like to enjoy the undeniable cosmetic improvement for a little while before getting a second pass, I will email the top docs right away. I will get a straightening treatment in one month to get rid of the goofy curls, it will be the moment of truth. I will not fail to keep you updated, but if the result is satsifactory, I'm probably going to forget what a computer is for a little while. I had a nasty pimple that I tried to treat in that almost bald spot in the forelock area, hopefully some hairs can show up in this one spot when the skin heals. Bad side where the technician didn't seem very serious. Let's see the donor area I would love to know how many grafts I've got let in there. To put things into perspective, let's have a look at the horrendous pre-op pics, and keep in mind I was really able to run serious cover-up game back then with that length. I think Demirsoy did a good job. But I will most likely go see a Belgian big name for the second pass because I need to make the most out of my donor area and to do the temple points.
  14. Will post an 8-month update in a few days. Things have improved I hope it's not just due to the length.
  15. 7 months: Worst area, considering a second pass there if it doesn't improve until month 12-14. Hairline: Diffuse thinning, to be fixed by a SMP: FUE bald patch smp will be needed
  16. Hey fellas, I've had 3261 grafts with Dr Demirsoy this summer and is seems to be going well so far but one area is really sparse at this point. Here is a close-up pic. I can see some tiny peach-fuzz like hairs, but maybe they aren't from the transplant. What do you think? It's almost 7 months in:
  17. Hi everyone, I'm a bit over 6 months post-op(3261 grafts FUE with Dr.Demirsoy). It seems like I'm heading towards a good result. It keeps improving and I've already come a long way. However, there is a nasty bald spot under my thinning crown and it's much worse. I had a lot of pimples in this area post-op, maybe I did not take care about it too well. But I would also say that my surgeon took the grafts a bit too high. Take a look at my donor area album, what do you think? Donor area 6 months - Album on Imgur Do you think I have a chance to see it imprive at this point? If not, what are my options? I would love to get SMP for thickening effect at Beauty Medicals but many people believe SMP for thickening effect is no good and turns to shit after a few years. I'm also afraid about it making a new transplant harder to perform. Also, how many grafts do you think I have left in my safe zone, which looks clean. I'm on medication and closely following the potential new treatment updates, but I could very well need another procedure in a few years I'd like to have another 3000 units left as an insurance.
  18. I think you should let it grow at least up to an inch to fully appreciate the result. Transplanted hairs are chosen in the thicker area, and come in double, triples and quadruples. They will look better longer to give an illusion of coverage.
  19. 6 months: 6 months and one day to be accurate. Took a series of pics today. Trying kerastase masks(pricey stuff to smooth out wiry hair) and sticking with non-sulfate shampoo to fight the frizz, hair is a bit less frizzy, so the progress isn't showing as it should be, but my lagging areas are showing improvement, especially if you look at the root. I still had a few pimples showing up in the sparse areas not too long ago so hopefully things are going to keep improving visible for the next couple months. The endgame will be a brazilian keratin treatment when the result is here to finally enjoy my hair. Researching the best way to avoid hair loss from straightening. If you closely look at the transplanted areas they are still looking like shit but with some length it's blending pretty well with the rest of the hair and it's starting to look natural. Wet, worse area, showing a pimple and tiny hairs(should mean upcoming thickening)
  20. I thought the grafts were not damaged if they did not bleed. Which makes it only a semi-challenge before day 10 at most.
  21. I thought that as long as the grafts did not bleed, you did not prevent them from growing. And that sun exposure posed scalp coloration problems.
  22. When seeing a bad result, many people say that the patient could have fucked up after the operation. How exactly? Things aren't that complicated. Looking back, I don't remember the post-op days to be that much of a hassle.
  23. How is this evolving mate? The first wave, although not spectacular, is a massive relief.
  24. Thank you for the encouragement, I really hope my lagging area starts to blend with the rest, and I'll just take the rest of the growth as a blessing. You went to Erdogan, he really was the one I wanted at first, the best in my mind. But Demirsoy who can also deliver was free at the beginning of my 45 days vacation so I took the risk, for half the price. We will see if it was the good choice!
