Astaldo, thank you so much for the new pictures and the explanation of everything. First of all, let me say that these new pictures make me feel VERY reassured and that was EXACTLY what I wanted to see. The length of your hair here is perfect to me, and it looks dense and totally normal. I would never suspect you had lost any hair at all, really. Your hairline, pulled back, also looks perfect, and that's something I was a bit concerned about with some of ADMED's patients. When I consult with ASMED I'm going to take your pictures with me and ask Erdogan if he can give me a result just like yours, I mean that literally. Out of curiosity, since we talked about longer hair length, can you show an example of a length or style you would like to do but that you don't feel comfortable with with your current density? Please let us know if you do consult with ASMED again about adding further density, I'd love to hear their input (which I hope is positive). Regardless, I think you have nearly infinite styling options available even now, especially if you're willing to use some product in your hair. I'm sure you realize this by now, but you look like a different person from the pictures you posted in the first thread. Congratulations.

Yaz, would you consider taking a picture with your hair combed forward/downward over your forehead? I've been trying hard to find pictures of post FUE with a style like that because I'm concerned about how that might look with HT density, but I can't find hardly anything. Assuming you haven't cut it recently, yours looks like it's long enough. Congratulations on an incredible result.

Was this Hasson & Wong's or another topical fin? If it was H&W's, what was the concentration percentage and did you try to get a lower concentration made?

Just to clarify: it's available in Canada but only for Canadian residents. I offered to fly to Vancouver to get the prescription but was told they can't give it to me because I don't live there. Have to wait until they have a US pharmacy to supply it to US residents.

I've been waiting patiently for this. I'm in the US and called their office a few weeks ago. I offered to go in for the prescription, but the receptionist said they won't/can't give it to anyone in the US until they find a pharmacy to compound it here. She said that was taking longer than expected, and estimated maybe another 3-4 months until that happens. Unfortunately 3-4 months was what they estimated back in March, so who knows when it'll be available As for efficacy, it's supposed to be roughly as effective as oral finasteride. I haven't heard of it being applied twice per day, in fact I think I read that it's used only a few times per week.

Blake, thanks so much for that thorough explanation. It means a lot that you answer specific questions without being roundabout. I admit I can't seem to totally give up on the idea of FUE. So IS it common for patients to come in 12-14 months after an FUE for a touchup? Maybe even expected? And most importantly, AFTER these touchup cases, how do the patients compare to FUT cases? Like if, for example, I was dead-set on FUE, and basically expected that 12-14 months after that FUE I'd have to come in and get maybe 500 more grafts to finalize it, would I be as good off (as far as density) as if I had just gone with FUT once? Or would I just never have a hairline as dense as a strip procedure, touchup or not?

A few questions about that: honestly, what are my chances I WON'T be able to buzz down to a 3 with a strip scar? What percentage of patients are unlucky enough that they can't go that low? Second, what do you make of Rich Piana's scar here? http://i.imgur.com/PYuF3hw.png Would you say that's good, bad, standard for being visible at that hair length? And lastly, I feel like I see more FUE procedures (than FUT) which look obviously, before the 12 month mark, like they're going to require repairs or "touch-ups" to get the yield to where it was supposed to be the first time. Do you think that's true? And I'm only talking about procedures with top clinics here. Thanks!

Thank you, Blake. I think you're probably right, because in his early 20s they probably wouldn't have taken too many grafts. Interesting consequence in that the scar doesn't look like much, I mean he can shave his hair to like a 1 and it doesn't draw that much attention like an ear-to-ear scar would, despite not having as much density as he probably wanted, yet still having good hair...

Looks good but damn, can we see some bigger/clearer pictures? Can't see the density at the hairline at all.
