Hi eveyone, Just wondered whether you guys can recommend an SMP clinic in London? What are the things I should be looking for in a good clinic? Also, why are there so few before/after pics from SMP patients on this forum? Thanks for any help! Adam

Hi everyone, I'm interested in buying topical finasteride. I had side effects with the oral version of the drug. Does anyone use the topical version? What have your results/ side effects been? Is there proof that this stuff works well with reduced chances of side effects? Thanks for the help. Adam

THe drug worked well for me but the side effects became intolerable. Tried with different doses etc - still got the side effects which lasted for quite a few months after I stopped taking it. It works well but be careful.

Hi guys, I wanted to get your opinion on my photos. I've had consultations with a few clinics now. I'm a 27 year old with strong family history of mpb. My dad, brother and grandfather are all NW7s. Most of them lost it by 30. I've been taking rogaine for 4 + years (couldn't tolerate propecia). Hard to say if I'm still losing hair. Feels like its only stabilised over the last few months if at all. How would you rate the qualtiy of my donor hair? Looking to get a H/T in the next year or so. Would be great to get your opinions. Thanks.

Hi all, I just wondered if doctors can predict whether someone will scar badly/ well before a hair transplant? I've heard that white guys tend to scar better than Asians for example. Maybe if there's a video/ article on this topic, someone could post it too? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Side-effects were loss of libido on 1mg of propecia. I tried taking propecia every other day and even once every three days but still gave me side-effects to be honest.

Hi guys, I recently saw a highly respected hair transplant surgeon in UK. I've tried taking propecia several times before (but kept getting side effects). The doc suggested I could take the medication once per week. Do you any of you do this? Has this dosage been enough to re-grow hair while preventing side-effects? Thanks for the help.

Hey everyone, Long time reader, first time post here. I just wondered if someone can tell me if anyone's ever died or had brain damage etc from a hair transplant? Whenever people talk about the risks of hair transplants, the only ones I hear about are a bad scar, not getting good coverage etc. What are the real risks from a hair transplant? This is surgery ultimately. Thanks.
