It has been just over 6 months since I had my hair restoration procedure with Dr. Gabel in Oregon. I am not one to usually write reviews, but I was asked by Dr. Gabel to write a review and give my honest opinion of how I felt about him and his work. I had a previous hair restoration procedure done by a hair restoration physician in Seattle several years ago, but the results were less than satisfactory. I came across Dr. Gabel from this website as he seems to be well regarded here. I chose not to write this review too soon after my procedure, as I wanted to wait long enough to see the results. Because let’s face it. The only thing that really matters, to me at least, is if the surgery accomplishes what it was supposed to. I could go on about how Dr. Gabel listened to my concerns, how his staff were all excellent and took great care of me, how the clinic is top notch and very clean, and how easy the surgery went. However, the most important parameter was getting natural looking hair where I wanted it. And Dr. Gabel did that. So, for that reason alone, I wholeheartedly recommended Dr. Gabel to anyone looking to get a hair restoration procedure. All of the other positive aspects of Dr. Gabel and his office are just a bonus. The excellent results are a testament to the skill of Dr. Gabel. And not only is Dr. Gabel a highly skilled surgeon, he is also honest. At the end of my procedure, I was told that the number of grafts placed was a little less than what Dr. Gabel had initially quoted me, so the final cost was less than what it originally was going to be. There is absolutely no way I would have known about this if Dr. Gabel had not told me. I was truly shocked by his honesty. He easily could have charged me what he quoted me and I would have been none the wiser. Being a health care professional myself, I cannot imagine a more qualified surgeon than Dr. Gabel. He has tremendous skill and unwavering morals. I have my six month follow up coming, so hopefully Dr. Gabel can post some before and after photos of my hairline soon. Thank you so much for giving me natural looking hair where I wanted it, Dr. Gabel! You and your staff are truly the best.
