Very High Density forehead reduction (3361 grafts)
Kaya replied to Fue3361's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Looks good. If the sides stay around the same caliber/color when they fully mature, you are golden. Almost all of the time, because of type of donor being extracted for side do not match the original hair on the side (which is thin, light in color) they dont blend in good and look more like a patch over there unless keeping it very long. And to be honest, this is not Doctors' fault or shortcoming. If they can not find same caliber hair in the donor, what are they supposed to do? They can implant only what they can extract. -

Thank you though, this is good enough for now. If you ever have the sides on the short side, please share. -
Dr Keser, Dr Pekiner and Dr. Zarev do the extractions and implantations themselves.

Check this page out (second page of the thread). You will see what I mean by sides. This guy had his 3rd transplant and get the sides done. He took and shared lot of photos from side view to show us how much transplanted hair blended with existing ones, at different lengths. -

Can you please take photos of your sides? I am super interested in how they blended. -
Awesome result, congrats! Can you please take some photos of your temple points under day light or strong light? I would like to see how compatible implanted grafts are with the existing ones in the temple/side in terms of caliber, color, thickness? (closer photo of the below area with more lighting basically)

Very High Density forehead reduction (3361 grafts)

Maths and look (not your comment) Maths: Telogen phase of hair follicle lasts about 2-3 months. Assuming shock loss started at around 30 days (at the latest), plus 2-3 months of telogen phase will be 120 days. Then hair will start growing at a rate of 1 cm a month. Hair follicle is located 0.5 cm under your skin. Therefore at around 135 days mark, most of your hair would be sprouted. Apparently, you started sprouting even earlier than that. Look at my photo at 70 day mark. You can see that most sprouted and the others are one the way (like black dots) Look: Below is your 76 day mark. You can see that most already sprouted and the rest can be seen as dots Reading your last message, I see that you relate sprouting to final result or something close to it. In my previous message, I wrote 'This does not mean that it is your final result. All those newly sprouted hair will become thicker, darker and mature in the next 4-6 months.' Sprouting is nothing but seeing a very tiny hair on the skin like in both your and my 70-80 day mark photos above. It will take another 4-6 months for all those to mature and get to the final result. So it is absolutely normal to see lack of density at this point; we all had that. Sprouting hair is weak now. They are short, skinny, light in color and not very straight (in some cases) so the coverage/density will not be there till at least 8 month mark. But from technical perspective, most of your transplanted hair already grew and came out of your skin and can be seen if zoomed in and of course they are not strong at this point. -

At this point (~150 days), looking at your progress so far, I can tell with a pretty high confidence that most( 90%) of your transplanted hair sprouted already. This does not mean that it is your final result. All those newly sprouted hair will become thicker, darker and mature in the next 4-6 months. After 10 months, I would be super curious to see how much yield you would have. Even if you have 80% yield (and I think you will have more than that), you will be on clouds -
FUE by HLC Ankara | 4261 Grafts | Nov 7, 2020

Quick correction: Dr. Keser is not a former HLC doctor. He never worked for someone else. Pekiner worked for Keser a year and switched to HLC. After working at HLC for 4 years, he opened up his own clinic. Quick story of Keser from his website: ---------- He established Derma -Past esthetic surgery center in 1998. In addition to all types of esthetic surgery operations, FUE method, the latest in hair transplantation, has been successfully performed at Derma-Plast since 2003. Dr .Keser has been the first in Turkey to perform FUE method, a revolutionary advance in hair transplantation. Dr.Keser started his scientific studies in late 2002 and based his experiences on scientific grounds. In the affiliated departments of the universities in Turkey and in the USA , he designed and produced Follicular Unit Extractor after 20 months of research studies. This specially designed needle is a self-design of Dr. Keser and all its rights belong to him. With these needles, the extraction of follicular units without a loss of anatomical unity has been possible. The needles was approved by Turkish Patent Institution in 2003, and PCT application for international patent has been filed. -

Thanks for the detailed post, I appreciate that. How did you find him out at the very first place? Googled ultra high density HT? Is there any forum showing patient results besides Instagram? -

Kaya replied to Fue3361's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Even though you are on your way to have an outstanding density and a result, I would not have HT with this doctor: - I read the reviews on google. All the bad reviews complain about the same thing: Lack of communication, not being able to reach out to doctor, nurse evaluating the cases, and team being attentive only on budget. - We love ultra high density but transplanting almost half of the donor in such a small area has elevated risk of necrosis and subpar result. - Almost no results on forums How did you find him out on internet at the first place? How did he evaluate your hair, how was the consultation? -
Beautiful job! You will have an awesome result.

Yep. these are the transplanted hairs and they started sprouting. They will get thicker and darker in few months. You are an early grower and this also kind of proves that implanted hairs are minimally traumatized during the operation. Do you happen to have graft distribution? How many multiples and singles did you have? -

Like @Gasthoerersaid, it's all about hair-skin color contrast and scar tissue. My donor after second HT looks like below on 10th and 35th day and that's why I am not concerned at all.
