  1. I know they come from the same donor area but I was looking in a topic for someone who had 2000 grafts and the donor area was hit alllll over the place, way more than a little strip. Is that normal to have that big of an area like almost the entirety of the back head taken from when doing FUE?
  2. Started taking after seeing it could get rid of parasites back when I was paranoid and got a little too deep into the whole detoxifying thing. The majority of it is silica which has done wonders for my hair, thickening is arguable maybe a bit but my hair absolutely grows twice as fast when I take it
  3. Ingesting Diatamaceous Earth daily has really helped my hair the last couple week, looks healthier and grows waaaay faster. Maybe I should add this soy bean stuff to my routine and replace the castor oil rubbed into my scalp every evening lol
  4. It would be smaller scale with Dr Shapiro, if I qualify for a study they would take a small strip right in the back of the head and FUE around it. A study to see if FUE on one side and FUT on the other side would create a matching hairline.
  5. Let's say you go to a decent doctor and have a standard looking scar, would it really be that bad to have the back of your head shaved short? It's just a thin line it's not like it's a huge gash...maybe I'm underselling how big these scars are but it just seems like something that would be easy to have showing. What are your thoughts?
  6. How do you think that would look if the person kept the sides and back neatly trimmed and short? I know it would be thin but how thin I wonder. I'm debating if I want the doctors to use the 2000 and just restore the front third or to take a chance and just spread it out on top and just rock a short beard and short hair on the sides while the transplant hair grows out a little longer.
  7. Honestly...yes I would. Mr Shapiro even said himself I have more of a Bruce Willis/Jason Staham head shape/facial appearance so that would help quit a bit. I also have very fair skin and somewhat lighter hair so the massive bald spot doesn't stand out as much . I just want SOMETHING on the top of my head I can grow, I was perfectly fine with thin hair a few years ago and have no problem getting a transplant that still looks thinning.
  8. Well I met with Shapiro Medical Group yesterday and it's as you guys said....I have a terrible donor area. Not a candidate for FUT at all according to Dr Ron Shapiro. However he called his other two doctors in, another Dr Shapiro and Dr Joesphanitis and they were all checking out my hair, they figured they could do maybe 1500 grafts with FUE from the back of head and combine that with 500 grafts from my beard. Enough to get some thinning coverage just on the front, I will take what I can get!
  9. Maybe Shapiro Medical Group will do a mix of fue and body hair transplant? I would be a great test subject I am Austin Powers reincarnated
  10. I can grow a full beard, not sure how the density is.......I have a TON of body hair front and back (sigh) but I hear Shapiro doesn't do body hair.
  11. I am meeting with people from Shapiro Medical Group Wednesday to find out, I hope they have some good news
  12. Is there any chance I am wrong? The hair was a bit wet when I took this photo
