    How would you define "recently" in this case? Do you think combined fin / rogaine treatment could return your hair to the state it was a year or two before use?

    Thanks for the advice guys. I'll keep going with the treatments and hope for the best. I'm 27 years old btw. Out of curiosity, what are the risks of hair transplantation before the age of 30? Also, is it worth it to travel to a place like Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic to have the operation done? I'm all the way up in Michigan.

    Hey everyone, Hope you are all doing well. I'm a new user here who has been suffering from noticeable hair loss for about a year. I just started using the big three (finasteride, nizoral, and minoxidl) about two months ago. Probably should have started earlier, but luckily I still have some decent coverage on my scalp and some hairs on the vertex. What do you guys think I can expect? I'm not hoping to have the head of hair I had ten years ago, but I would like to reverse it to maybe its early 2014 status. I'm going to try the non-surgical treatments first, then maybe try an FUE on the crown if I don't get results after a year. How much do you think it would cost to fill in the crown area with a hair transplant? Thanks!
