Ok so iv been using regaine 5% foam now for the last 4 months and its time to restock. My questions are is there a big difference between that and the kirkland brand. Will i have any problems going from one to the other and is there any real benifit from switching bar kirkland being much cheaper to buy. Thsnks in advance ☺

Htsoon were you using rogaine 1st then switch to lipogaine

Iv been on fin now for 2 months with no affect on my sexdrive or my penis. No headaches or anything else. As said above just pop it like a vit and forget about it. I think if you dwell on it the mind starts to affect you thinking you have problems when you dont :D

Just to clear a few things up. I live in Scotland where my meds are free. My fin costs me nothing at all. The dr prescribes me it and it costs nowt at the chemist. The regaine foam is ?30 on amazon for a 3 months supply and the biotin max strength is ?10 for a years supply and the niz shampoo is also free from the dr. So to recap it costs me a grand total of ?130 a year for all of the above. I might as well give it a bash for a year to see what happens before i consider a transplant of any kind,dont you think. Plus i dont really fancy the big scar on the back of my head lol ☺☺

So i thought id keep a wee diary of my fight against mpb, what i use and some photos. Im 37 and dont really know where i am on the scale of baldness but i do know its thinning and now is the time to try fighting back lol. This is the list of what i use and how often i use it. Regane max strength 5% foam : twice a day. Morning and night. Nizarol 2% shampoo : 3 times a week. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Biotin tablets. 1 a day. Every morning. Finastride tablet 1mg. 1 a day. Every morning. Multi vit tablet. 1 a day. Every morning. Iv been on the regain, nizarol and biotin for 2 months and the finastride for 30 days so im a wee bit behind on that lol. I have noticed a lot of baby fluffy hair at my right temple area just at the hairline but thats all i can really see, i hope i have the same growth at the back too. The shed has been bad i think lol as the hair all over the top has thinned out a bit so hoping for great things when regrowth happens. Time for some pics and these are the starting pics and im now coming up to the end of month 2 so will get some of those pics up closer the time thanks. Ok just noticed my pics are a bit messed up lol. Will remember this for next time but if a mod can fix this that would be great. Many thanks in advance. The 1st 2 pics are of my crown but seem to be upside down. The 3rd is my right temple and just needs flipped. The 4th is my left temple and again just needs flipped. The last pic seems to be ok. Looking at the pics iv also learned not to use the flash lol as the 1st pic has no flash and looks the best quality.

From what iv read the shedding only last 2-3 weeks then will get less as the new hairs grow in.

Iv been using the foam for a week now and find it OK to use. I do plan on buying the liquid and use that at night.

Yeah i know lol. Thats where i get my regain from as its cheaper but i have a boots across the rd from my work so i just get my niz from there.

How long have you been using it for and what has your results been like with only once a day thanks

Hi guys. I'm just about to buy my 1st 3 months supply of regain and was wondering which to buy the foam or the liquid. Any advice or help would be great thanks.

I have ordered my fin from Dr fox and came within 3 days and at ?52 for 3 months supply I think its the best price iv seen yet. I will be seeing my gp those I heard of a few now getting it on proscription and as I live in Scotland I get my meds for free so its worth a punt.

I don't really know to be fair harry. I think I read on here that it should not be used on a daily basis

Minoxidil max do a topical minoxidil with finasteride and as added too and it comes I 5%,10% and 15% strengths. They are a U.S. company too.

I use the 2% nizoral 3 times a week. Every Mon. Tues and Friday morning.

Iv not noticed any shedding at all but i do take biotin too and il be starting regaine and finistride at end of the month so not looking forward to the shed lol.

I might have to see my GP then and as im in Scotland our prescriptions and meds are free.

Never used the 1% as i dont think we get it here. Have u tried amazon uk. The 2% is on there and might send it acros the pond. It is cherry red but it has a clean smell if you know what i mean. Not cherry smell.

Yup in the uk nizoral 2% costs ?6 a ottle in any chemist.
