  1. I’ve just noticed some different options/blends over the standard Rogaine at the store.
  2. Looking for a suggestion on the best clinic to purchase a topical minoxidil product through. Thanks for any help.
  3. What is the maximum density that can realistically be achieved via HT in temples, hairline, etc (assuming donor is not a concern)?
  4. Not to get off topic, but which doctor do you guys recommend buying a topical minoxidil/fin solution from?
  5. I appreciate the response. I don’t think anyone has told me that I necessarily need to have something done. I do however feel like the small procedure would correct my problem areas and be relatively low risk.
  6. Thx Space. I’ve been on it for about 6 years. Seems to have helped. Only very slight progression in front middle area since I started.
  7. Guys....very much appreciate the feedback here. His non-shaven FUE fees certainly aren’t cheap (+\- $10 per graft), but with only 1,000 grafts, it’s not an issue. My only hesitancy has been shock-loss risk in the front hairline. While no doctor can guarantee a result, Dr. Konior certainly helped to minimize that concern. Additonally, I believe the wait time will be well over a year out after booking. Thanks again for the feedback.
  8. Hi. 37 y/o male I recently visited Dr. Konior and was quoted +\- 1000 grafts for his non-shaven FUE procedure. Consisting of 600 dense packed to fill in the temple areas and 400 for my front area. Extra caution would be used here to reduce shock risk. I know that Dr. K is highly recommended here. However, I’d appreciate any thoughts on my plan/procedure here as I’m looking to schedule very soon since he is booked far in advance. Thanks very much. (Pics below taken under LED bathroom light)
  9. How far is Dr K. booked out these days?
  10. Dr. Feller, Thank you very much for taking your time to reply. I'm well aware of who you are, and your advice is greatly appreciated. I was unaware that the keeping the hair long added additional risk to the procedure. I assumed that it was simply more expensive and time consuming to go the non-shaven route, but similar results could be expected. Concealing the procedure is obviously very important, but not at the expense of unnecessary risk. I have seveal trips planned to NY and will work with your office to coordinate a visit. Thanks again for the reply.
  11. Hi all, First of all, thanks to everyone for the invaluable information posted on this forum. I'm a 35 y/o male and currently a fairly stable NW 1-1.5 with above average donor density. I've been on Propecia/Minox for 3.5 years and as such am looking to restore my temple points as well as add slight density to my front hairline. I prefer to have the non-shaven FUE procedure. It was recommended that 600 total grafts were needed (100 left temple, 300 right temple, and 200 for front density). I plan to have additional consultations. My obvious concern is hiding the procedure, and more importantly transection and shockloss due to the large quantity of native hair in my front hairline. At this time, hair loss is not visible due to styling. I would really appreciate any surgeon recommendations for the size and detail of this type procedure? I have heard that Dr. Carlos Wesley is excellent. Thanks in advance for any help that can be given.
