  1. Great review... I just had a skype consultation with Diep and am looking to book in sometime in 2018. (Only 1300 graphs to restore hairline). Your review along with others such as HTsoon has been great insight. The results look amazing so far and your growth seems much faste tha most. Did you get A-Cell with your treatment?
  2. Dr Diep Dr Bisanga Dr Erdogan the list goes on...
  3. Hey mate, I take Saw Palmetto, Stinging Nettle Root, Fenugreek and Ashwaghanda. I think my hair has improved significantly. You need to take them long term. Jump on iherb, they are all super cheap and great for you anyway - so why not?
  4. Looks good, keen to follow this - i am yet to see Dr Paths FUE results! Good luck!
  5. Keen to hear the reviews of Dr Erdogan and Bisanga... I need to book in for the end of 2018 in either one of these two of Dr Diep. Good luck
  6. Sean, If you decide to go ahead please keep up all updated. I underwent a ton of research and Dr L came out as one of my top 3 along with 1 from Europe and 1 from US that this forum will not let me name. But considering you are from Australia like me Dr L seems the most convenient. Love to know how you go as I might book in depending on your results
  7. You can find an excellent review of a FUE done by Dr Laorwong here http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/183378-1652-fue-grafts-dr-laorwong-absolute-hair-clinic-bangkok.html Some of the best results I have seen and Dr L is definitely one I am watching for when the time comes for me to take the leap. Looking forward to Ian posting his results.
  8. Hi Ian, Sounds great! It would be fantastic if you would keep us all updated with your progress. How did you find Dr Laorwong? And any difficulty with the travel and staying / getting around in Bangkok?
  9. Hi Ozzielookingforhair, No I haven't yet. Since i have taken some pictures I thought Id give it a year and see how much it worsens (if any) by the end of the year. The last dr i contacted was one from America whom I cannot name on this site. I think his work looks the best and I am also interested in his PRP. There are some great results floating around on the net. After sending him my pictures he encouraged me to avoid a transplant at this early stage in life - which i respected (the only surgeon who said that). He informed me my temples would not need more than 300 grafts each side and recommended PRP.I've always wanted to take a holiday to the states so I figure if I do go sometime in early 2018 I will stop by his office and have him examine me and see what he thinks. May just go the PRP or may get some work done if he thinks its ok to do so.I still think the others are great options but since I really don't need major work I cannot justify travelling to Brussels etc just to have 600 or so grafts done. Keser or Bisinga? - I think it comes down to your personal preference and the feel you get from consulting each.
  10. Long shot but has anyone had any experience with a clinic performing PRP and A-CELL treatment in Australia? Trying to find a reputable clinic but like most things here in the land of Oz we seem to be way behind the trend.
  11. Amazing results - I would be so stoked with that
  12. Hey mate, Im from Australia too. Have you looked into Dr Laorwong? Results seem great and there is a thread on this site with outstanding results. He would be your best bet in SE Asia I would think. hair loss | hair transplantation | hair restoration | FUE hair transplant | eyebrow transplant | Bangkok | Thailand
  13. Jaa: Whats the cost per graft here in Aus? Like Vainism says you would be crazy to get it done here
  14. Yeh I emailed him yesterday and he replied straight away stating there is only the Bangkok clinic. Which is a shame as i hear Bangkok is an absolute b*tch to get around. He clinic is out from the main city centre.
  15. Further on Dr Loarwong I am also trying to find out if he also works out of Phuket, not just Bangkok. This website shows that he does: Absolute Hair Clinic (Phuket, Thailand) - Clinic Information I myMEDholiday.com<br> If so that would be ideal! Cheap 5 star accomodation, easy to get around, great food. I have emailed him so hopefully I hear back in the next few days. If so that would pretty much make my decision for me.
  16. I'm in Brisbane. Based on my research the top picks ranked lowest to highest in price for 2000 grafts are: DR LOARWONG = $3.44 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $6,880.00 (BANGKOK) DR ERDOGAN = $3.61 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220.00 (TURKEY) DR KESER = $5.06 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $10,120.00 (TURKEY) DR BISANGA = $7.22 AUD 1st 1000, $4.33 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220 + $4,330 = $11,550.00 (BRUSSELS) DR LUPANZULA = $6.50 AUD 1st 1000, $5.80 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $6,500 + $5,800 = $12,3000 (BRUSSELS) DR LORENZO = $8.7 AUD 1st 1000, $5.8 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $8,700 + $5,800 = $14,500.00 (SPAIN) Dr Loarwong seems good but his position in Bangkok seems rather difficult to get to regarding taxis etc. I am maybe leaning towards Dr Bisanga at this point. Just gathering prices on flights and accommodation now to see how much it will cost me . But they are definitely my top two picks. Shame there is not more review on Dr Loarwong - but he seems very underrated
  17. Little update. Ive been burning the midnight oil and doing considerable research on the best surgeons and price. Below is my current list: Ranked from lowest to highest in price* based on 2000 grafts in which ive been quoted by a few of the below: DR LOARWONG = $3.44 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $6,880.00 (BANGKOK DR ERDOGAN = $3.61 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220.00 (TURKEY) DR KESER = $5.06 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $10,120.00 (TURKEY) DR BISANGA = $7.22 AUD 1st 1000, $4.33 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220 + $4,330 = $11,550.00 (BRUSSELS) DR LORENZO = $8.7 AUD 1st 1000, $5.8 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $8,700 + $5,800 = $14,500.00 (SPAIN) Top picks - Dr Keser, Dr Bisanga. I feel based on their hairline work these are the best surgeons suited to my needs. Erdogan is also a contender. I am in contact with Dr Bisanga who seems great so time will tell I will also send my pictures to Keser and Asmed (Erdogan). *all prices in AUD and most of these prices have been collected from other posters on this forum. Converted from Euro to AUD
  18. Hey guys, Going ahead with an FUE treatment of 1800-2000 grafts. Here are my current top picks and pricing. Am i missing anyone? And are there any recommendations / suggestions? Ranked from lowest to highest in price based on 2000 grafts. DR LOARWONG = $3.44 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $6,880.00 (BANGKOK DR ERDOGAN = $3.61 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220.00 (TURKEY) DR KESER = $5.06 AUD = 2000 GRAFTS = $10,120.00 (TURKEY) DR BISANGA = $7.22 AUD 1st 1000, $4.33 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $7,220 + $4,330 = $11,550.00 (BRUSSELS) DR LORENZO = $8.7 AUD 1st 1000, $5.8 AUD AFTER = 2000 GRAFTS = $8,700 + $5,800 = $14,500.00 (SPAIN) Top picks - Dr Keser and Dr Bisanga.
  19. I am on the exact same boat as you being from Australia and looking at FUE in April (1800-2000 graphs). Definitely steer clear of any HT here in Australia. Currently I am looking at Dr Loarwong in Bangkok ($3.44aud)or Dr Bisanga in Brussels (unsure on price). I was also considering Dr Erdogan ($3.61aud) but the fact he only does the incisions himself and the current terror events in Turkey has put me off somewhat. However the ease of flights - accommodation etc is very appealing and his results seem great so its still an option. Keen to follow this thread to see what the best options are
  20. $8-12 a graft! Crazy to pay that here in Aus when you can go to Thailand, US, Canada etc
  21. Thank you for your input hsrp10, Agreed completely shaven would be the best method, however I ideally would only like to take 3 weeks max off work so a shaved donor area and possibly a partially shaved front hairline would be ideal in order to conceal the HT from my co-workers. Thank you for the suggested surgeons however given my location in Australia the travel and AUD conversion to Euro would make the price just sky rocket (I assume - I am yet to get prices from any Belgium surgeons).
  22. Just fill in the temple corners to bring back my original hairline. In terms of surgeons for that region I believe my 3 options are Dr Path, Dr Pong and Dr Laorwong. Given the fact that I believe a non-shaven FUE procedure would be best (again - happy for input if i am wrong here) this rules out Dr Pong and Dr Path as I believe they only perform FUT. Dr Laorwong has an impressive portfolio of pictures on his website at http://www.absolutehairclinic.com. Again - I am happy for all input and am here to learn and take on suggestions. If FUT would be best please let me know. Whilst Thailand is close to Australia I would also consider travelling to Europe etc if the price and surgeon made it the wisest option. I believe Dr Laorwong charges $2.85US per graft for FUE. I orginally heard of Dr Laorwong from the below review: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/183378-1652-fue-grafts-dr-laorwong-absolute-hair-clinic-bangkok.html Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong is a Graduate Fellow in Hair Restoration Surgery certified by International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery which has successfully completed in fellowship training. In FUE, Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong attended many workshops with well-known FUE experts e.g, Dr. Cole, Dr. Harris, Dr. Lorenzo. Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong is a Diplomate American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery which has certified since 2010 and now a Fellow ISHRS in 2014
  23. I guess I was always waiting for the big 30. Plus I am getting to that stage that I would like to possibly start a serious relationship and the hairloss has always played on my confidence - I always seem to think of how my hair looks when im with a girl which is very hindering in all aspects Yes i've been reading reviews for the past few years. As I believe i would not require too many graphs I was leaning towards FUE due to the minimal downturn and the fact I shave my back and sides to a blade 2/3. In terms of surgeons I was looking at Turkey and the major few there but given the long distance and world events I have scratched that from the list. Dr Path is on my shortlist, along with Dr. Kongkiat Laorwong. These two seem to be the best surgeons in the region.
