  1. Hey lileli, Discussed on another thread. Dr. Hasson has no FUE results but is charging guys top dollar to practice on their head in my opinion. Basically riding the popularity of his FUT.. Don't want to take this thread away from Dr. Feller though. I've grabbed some popcorn and about to watch one of his videos.
  2. Please stop performing FUE Dr. Feller. By your own admission, you're terrible at it. Schedule FUE training. Perfect your technique with smaller FUE procedures. But don't charge patients to practice on their head like Dr. Hasson. Be honest with patients. Tell them you're terrible at FUE but want to learn. Show them these threads. In time, you will get better. I promise. But hey... if you were really against FUE for moral reasons you would remove it from your signature and website. But you won't. It's what people want. You will use it as an opportunity to sell a lie in my opinion. The lie is known as modified FUE.
  3. Safe zone is based on current and future hair loss pattern. They extracted outside his safe zone. That's just it. They don't know if they can back it up. Dr. Hasson has zero FUE results. None. Nada. I was curious as to why you would book (and pay top dollar I might add) to a clinic that has little experience and no FUE results to share. I was more curious as to why someone would book when there are no results, photos to share. I guess it boils down to faith. I'm a religious man and understand the power of faith. Believing in something you can't see. Let's just leave it at that. I have no resentment at all. Dr. Hasson does great strip work. Hairlines lack a little in design but great work overall. Hell, I would schedule a strip with him to increase density if I had to. I'm just not sold on his FUE or lack of. Just because your good at strip does not mean you're good at FUE. I'll admit that it bugs me they are charging guys top dollar when they have no results to share. They are riding the popularity (and trust) of their FUT. That's wrong in my opinion. Thank you for posting. I hope it does turn out well. I WANT it to turn out well for you. But we're missing a key ingredient here: consistency. Dr. Hasson does not know if he can perform FUE yet. He does not know that he can deliver what he promised. He needs to practice, which is what he did on your head. Too many questions that need answered here: who is the technician who did the extraction? Sharp or dull punch? What's their technique implanting, harvesting? I hope they answered all of this during the consultation. Bottom line, the discount would be to let him practice on your head. You're giving them a great deal. Practice and free publicity. That's all i'm saying. You might at well get something in return. A discount on future work maybe. Here is to good growth my friend. Fingers crossed. Your result can make or break them in FUE for sure.
  4. You're ok at strip Dr. Feller. I've seen your work in person. Hairline work is ok. No doubles. Nice irregular pattern. Crappy design in my opinion though. I would not rate you as an A-list hair transplant doctor. Most would agree on this form. But a solid B-list. With the likes of Bernstein and Rassman. You won't get a botched hair transplant... but don't expect a home run either. Just average. My 65 year old dad would be happy. That brings me to something... why does your signature and website say you offer FUE when you're so against it?
  5. Classic Hasson donor area in my opinion. His strip seems to be always taken above the safe zone putting the patient at risk long-term. He's made the same mistake here and extracted (or should I say assistant) outside of the safe zone with FUE. I hope you're not headed for a high norwood. If you are, there is a VERY real chance that you will lose the transplanted hairs due to miniaturization. While the work does look good, it's a small number of grafts. No doubt you will need a second to increase the density or style your hair strategically to make up for the lack of density. I'm guessing that Dr. Hasson would have recommended more grafts had it been strip. In the end, time will tell. As I mentioned, the recipient site looks great. Donor area (though a small number of grafts) good also. The only issue I possibly see is density due to your hair and scalp contrast. Easy fix though with a touch-up. That brings me to the question I'm sure many are wondering. The elephant in the room so to speak. Why on earth would you book FUE with Dr. Hasson? He has no FUE results. None. Nada. You're basically a guinea pig here. He is learning how to do FUE at your expense. He is training on your head. They also offer ARTAS at the expense of patient's heads, which is bad enough. The purchase was a sign of desperation no doubt. I guess what I'm getting at is I hope that you got a really good discount, especially since you're promoting his work on the forum. Something they are REALLY desperate for. Word on the street says their schedule took at hit because of their reluctance to offer FUE. If not, call them now and ask for one or at minimum a discount towards future work. There is a real chance that you won't get stellar growth due to their in-experience with FUE. Did they tell you that during the consultation? I hope so. Anyway, best of luck. I hope it works out. While the work looks good, time will tell if Dr. Hasson has learned how to overcome the many pitfalls of FUE. He is not proven in FUE, and in my opinion should not be changing patients top dollar until proven. There are much better alternatives. Good luck.
  6. In opinion, the only thing that Dr. Feller has done is show the online community that he is not confident in his FUE ability. Of course FUE yield would be bad in the hands of Dr. Feller, he has openly admitted that he sucks at it. So basically we have someone who knows that he is bad at FUE telling the rest of us (many who have had successful FUE) that the procedure is flawed. When in reality it's Dr. Feller's FUE technique that is flawed. Dr. Feller can't do FUE by his own admission. While his videos are entertaining, they also reveal one simple fact. Well two actually: his business is hurting and he is spending more time entertaining than performing surgery. Just look at the "modified FUE" as an example. It''s an act of desperation and every reputable HT doctor is lughing i'm sure. Thanks for setting the industry back 10 years Dr. Feller with your modified FUE nonsense. (aka: the dinosaur).
  7. OR… Dr. Bhatti has a point and your FUE technique is wrong Dr. Feller? Seriously, call Dr. Koray, Bhatti or any other Turkish FUE doctor for some FUE tips. You clearly need them.
  8. Dr. Feller, The guy you’re talking about is “hookhairs.” Looks like it was YOUR FUE technique that was the problem Dr. Feller. He has two FAILED FUE with you and then decided to schedule with Dr. Rahal. Joe posted his result a few months back. Dr. Rahal nailed it after YOU failed 2x. His result is great, http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/176272-update-must-see-rahal-fue-results-1413-grafts.html How can you explain this? Two FAILED FUE with you. And a HOMERUN with Dr. Rahal – same patient. I can In my opinion you’re only a strip doctor who was never able to master FUE. You’re desperate. Your practice is hurting. You’re doing FUE wrong. This patient proves it. Maybe you should call Dr. Rahal or Feriduni for some FUE tips?
  9. I sometimes wonder when average results get praised by so many on this forum. I point out that the hairline is pluggy and i'm Busa all of a sudden? Sorry but it's true. All that matters is the guy is happy I guess.
  10. It's great to see docs jumping on the fue bandwagon but i just can't get into this result, sorry. I tried. I'm my opinion it's an average result. Growth is good. But the hairline seems pluggy to me You can clearly see doubles. Compare this hairline to the likes of Feriduni or Konior. It's not in the same league.
