  1. I will guess the left is FUT and the right is FUE. The right looks to be packed with more density to offset the lower yield with FUE. If Dr. Fellers average yield numbers are correct, the patient with 75% yield in the FUE proceedure and grafts packed more densely would get about the same result as the patient with the grafts packed less densely and a 98% yield with the FUT.
  2. I have been following this thread for quite some time. I thank Dr. Feller for starting it as I believe he is honestly trying to educate potential patients. If he were to stop doing FUSS and switch to FUE only, I'm sure he would make more money based on the prices on his website (assuming he would have no problem finding a steady stream of patients who could afford large FUE sessions with him) as well as less overhead. If I were a high norwood, I would definitely strip out and finish it off with FUE. Fortunately I am not. I plan on getting a FUE. If I decide I don't want to continue on Finasteride for the rest of my life, I want the option to shave down to a 1 guard without anyone noticing the scars except probably someone in the hair transplant industry. My head looks pretty good shaved although it definitely looks better with hair. I know that all surgeons are putting their best results online including FUSS and FUE surgeons, but in the humble opinion of this layman the best FUE surgeons seem to be getting better than 75% yield on average. As the good doctor said its better to have either a FUE or FUSS than nothing. Again thanks to Dr. Feller for starting this thread...and by the way Dr. Feller I can think of a few less exciting places to visit than Pittsburgh.
  3. I like his fue protocol and I think his results look really good. I vote yes. Dr Yaman, I visited your website and did not see a pricing stucture. Could you kindly indicate your pricing structure or per graft price?
  4. I have been an avid reader of this forum for awhile now. I would like to thank everyone involved as I have learned so much in the past four or five months. It is a great resource for hair loss sufferers. I am considering a hair transplant and have narrowed my potential doctors down to four. This is my first time posting. I just wanted to share my experience with Joe Tillman. I contacted Joe for his free second opinion service on the recommendations I was given by the four doctors I am considering. Joe promptly responded to my e-mail with a detailed response. I sent a follow up e-mail asking Joe a ton of questions. Joe again responded promptly and offered to talk to me on the phone to help answer my questions the same night. Joe gave me his honest opinion of the four HRN recommended doctors I am considering and didn't even mention once that I should consider Dr. Karadeniz who was the only doctor he was affiliated with at the time. Joe talked to me for about an hour and answered all the questions I had. I sought Joe's opinion because of his vast experience in the industry. Joe spent a lot of his time helping me and answering my questions and expected nothing in return. I greatly appreciated that Joe offered his time and advice free of charge. I just hope that Joe continues to mentor hair loss sufferers as I believe that he first and foremost is out to help us follicular challenged individuals.
