  1. Since I was 19, I have been using finasteride 1 mg per day (oral). No side effects to my observation. I am of course very happy about that! I am now 37 and absolutely as much hair as when I was 19.
  2. Weird, never seen this before. But I am kinda sure it will resolve on is own.
  3. I don't know if I'm interpreting this research article correctly but are Finasteride users at greater risk for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) because it suppresses DHT? Find this kind of research terrifying, have been using Finasterde since I was 19 (1mg a day), I am now 37. 4. Yes I use it, it's the same as Rogaine Foam (both made by Johnson & Johnson). The name is just different in France.
  5. I had the same problem (the Netherlands), eventually I found a pharmacy in France. Within a week I got my order and not too expensive. I checked it;, they send to Sweden! It's called: Mon Pharmacien Conseil (I am not allowed to place any links here). Good luck!
  6. Looks really good! What is the plan for the 2nd session? Love to see the end result.
  7. Does this also apply to a little hair mousse, clay/way and hairspray? I always thought that after 10 days you couldn't really ruin anything by applying "something" to the hair/scalp.
  8. Overall very nice work, with a great design and density. But please pay attention to doubles and triples in hairline. Are you using microscopes?
  9. I am trying to get my hands on Rogaine Foam, but it isn't easy. But I think I found a supplier from a local pharmacy in France now, hopefully he will ship to my country. What risk do I take if I start using the Minoxidil with propylene glycol and ethanol (96%) now, at 15 days post op? Do you don't recommend it because of scalp irritation? Or is it that you can really harm grafts?
  10. Thanks @Rahal Hair Transplant! No the hairs looked really healthy and strong. I am on Finasteride for 17 years as well. Good to hear it will grow back, just hoping the hairs I lost this morning were not a result of transection.
  11. Thanks for your reply! It's not about the recent transplanted hairs, but the hairs that were already there, pre-existing, but transplanted in October 2020.
  12. I am two weeks post-op my touch up procedure of 300 grafts. Some density was added to my hairline. My surgeon placed the hairs between the pre-existing hairs (but also transplanted, Oct 2020). I haven't used any styling products for 14 days. Today I decided to give it a go and used some Clay Pomade. While applying quite soms hairs sticked at my hand, more than I am used to. I believe it came from the recipient area. I didn't lose hairs this day and the days while washing. Is this expect to be shockloss? Or are the hairs around the transplanted area less resistant for pull and tugging caused by the stickiness of the product? Can it be the hairs that came loose are transected? Thanks, bit worried. 1 day post-op
