  1. Hi Guys I have been stalking these forums for a long time and finally decided to post. Over the past year I have been contemplating using Propecia for hair loss but obviously the though of the side effects have prevented me to take the plunge. On the other hand, while I was reading the side effects, I have noticed is that many of these are effects I have experienced recently. For instance, my sex drive has definitely begun to deteriorate, tender nipples, confusion, dizziness, fatigue, a disconnect between brain and penis, the list goes on ... Mind you, these are relative, which means if you met me, you probably would not notice. I can get erect no problem within seconds but the biggest problem might be that the brain connection is not there if that makes any sense ??!! But, I have never taken Propecia in my life. I think it is important to tell you that I have a history of diabetes in the family (South Asian - Pakistani to be exact so very common problem in our region) and for my age (25 in case you are wondering) have high blood pressure. This has been largely due to reduced exercise and not keeping a heathy diet resulting in weight gain of 12 kgs (or 26.4 lbs). My father is a Urologist who does not believe in PFS (along with most of his colleagues that I have met) though I have tried to convince him many times. I personally am not that cynical because so many people can not be pretending and especially reporting the same symptoms. Still, there was an interesting video I saw recently on youtube >>> in which the doctor felt that persistent side effects were probably linked to pre-disposition for people e.g. those with hypertension and diabetes which can themselves cause sexual problems and propecia helps to push them over the edge so to speak. Are there any people who experienced side effects that had diabetes history in the family or hypertension? or other diseases that are linked to ED? Or just experiencing similar issues to mine? Thanks for reading and apologies for the length in advance. The GOAT
