  1. Hi Mark, Check out the video in my thread below Hopefully it'll help you get a better understanding of beard grafts. Feel free to whatsapp/email me direct if you have any further questions. PS. Once grafts are extracted from any region, they do not grow back, everybody has a finite amount of grafts which is why it's important to make them all count.
  2. Hi HTHope, In my experience dealing with countless patients over the last few years, previously transplanted hairs tend to grow out at their normal pace following a second top up surgery in the same area. Being from the donor safe zone they are more resilient. Again a top surgeon will take care to create incisions away from existing grafts to minimise damage and reduce trauma to existing grafts. Furthermore if you do experience shock loss then it is likely to be only temporary and not permanent.
  3. Dear all, In the following video Dr Bhatti explains in detail Minoxidil, its use, its effect and answers many more questions that have been put forward regarding the medication. Again, a must see for everyone out there.
  4. Dear all, Its always a hot topic, Finasteride use and whether pre and post op hair transplant patients should take it. In the following video Dr Bhatti uses his expertise to explain away the phobias associated with Finasteride use and explains in detail the relationship with Testosterone levels. Again, a must see for so many of you out there.
  5. Hi Tom, If you initially inquired about hair surgery back in 2012 then the first thing I have to say is you've held out remarkably well over the past 8 years. I would say about 2000-2500 grafts would restore your hairline, fill in your temple areas and maybe a slight re-pointing of your temple points too. If you are based in Dubai then you could even consider a direct flight to Chandigarh where I had mine done. I can put you through to many past UK patients who I'm sure would be happy to assist you in your research.
  6. Thanks, I'm glad you find Dr Bhatti's videos useful, especially this one. Dr Bhatti strives to educate all potential hair loss patients out there so they can successfully avoid the many minefields and pitfalls that are strewn in their paths. There is more content on the website too if you are up for some further research , (see link below). https://darlingbuds.com/blog
  7. Dear all, In the next video of Dr Bhatti's incredibly informative series, he discusses the Crown/Vertex area and explains in his own detailed fashion the different aspects to be aware of including expectations and failure. A must see for all patient with thinning Crowns planning on having this troublesome area restored. Some valuable lessons to be learnt, enjoy!
  8. Hi Gill, In response to your question, Dr Bhatti has actually had 3 separate HT surgeries, 2 FUT surgeries in 2007 and a further FUE surgery in 2013. He mentions this along with pics in the following video, forward to 1:36. As for causing offense, I don't think you've ever offended anyone on this forum in all your time here. just offered wise words of wisdom. Take care and stay safe.
  9. Hi Behappy, In my experience the patients are not just told no but they are advised of the pros and cons and they are advised of other areas to look into to help sustain their hair until they reach a suitable age to be reassessed. This is all part of the ethics the clinic practices and I for one will always go that extra yard to ensure the younger ones fully understand and most do and keep in touch for further help and guidance over time. Also patients are not charged anything for this. I feel we do as much as we possibly can.
  10. Dear all, In light of all the younger posters on this forum asking for hair loss advice I thought it appropriate to post the following video. In the video Dr Bhatti explains why 22 years of age is too young for a hair transplant. In true Dr Bhatti trademark style, many issues that affect younger hair loss sufferers are explained in great detail. Again I hope you some of you guys learn some valuable lessons from this video.
  11. Dear all, In the following video Dr Bhatti discusses hair loss in women and the pros and cons of various treatments for female hair loss as well as answering many questions. It can be devastating for men to lose their hair as some of you well know but you can multiply that feeling tenfold for females. I sincerely hope the information in this video finds itself with the persons who would greatly benefit from it.
  12. Dear all, In this video Dr Bhatti introduces you to Tom, he had 5, yes 5 failed transplants but he never gave up hope. I can actually recall helping Tom with his visa, lovely fella, I personally couldn't be more happier for him. Once again I hope Tom's story helps educate and inspire some of you guys on the forum. Enjoy.
