  1. I have consulted with both of them, and Doganay even offers a 25 percent discount, probably because of the bad rep. I'll probably go safe with Bhatti. Thank you for the answers, they've been very helpful.
  2. Hi people. I am currently in the process of choosing my hair transplant surgeon for my second transplant. I was a NW 3 (and a very strong one, with almost the whole front of my head being bald) I had a 2800 graft procedure, and now, two years later I am looking to improve my density with around 1400 grafts. It comes down to dr Hakan Doganay vs dr Tejinder Bhatti. They charge the similiar amount, and I've seen some good results by both of them. The main difference is that Doganay does the implantation of the grafts while Bhatti does the harvesting and stresses out that this is the most important part of the procedure. The technicians do the work the doctor doesn't in both cases. So, what do you guys think, which part is the most important and which doctor should I choose? Thank you very much for the answers.
  3. Hi to you all. I had a hair transplant two years ago when I was 20. Now of course this young age is alarming for many people. The thing is I have the exact same type of hair loss as my father does, which is aggressive thinning at young age up to advanced NW3 which eventually stops never to be seen again. My father started losing hair at very young age and now is 52 and he is still NW3 although the patch in the middle is almost non-existent. I have started losing hair when I was 17. I know that close family history isn't the only factor to go by, but I rolled the dice. I had a transplant of 2800 grafts and now two years later I haven't lost more native hair (or at least not noticeably so) and I am satisfied with the results. I am thinking of going back and having another 1000-1500 grafts added for more density which is kind of an important thing at my age. The way I see things (If I don't lose any more hair - great, if I do lose it - I'm shaving it off, because in my opinion there is no point in fighting hair loss past NW3). But I hate the idea of wasting anymore donor hair and sometimes I really wish I had my old density at the back of my head although the difference isn't noticeable to the naked eye. Being 22, I know I'm going to witness the next big thing in the whole hair loss battle thing at some point in the future, and I don't want to be regretting my transplants then. So what do you think the next best step for me would be? Thanks to all the answers.
  4. I am planning on doing a hair transplant at Maral Hair Clinic in Istanbul this summer. I have opted for Dr Maral mainly because of financial reasons. Also, I've heard about some of his work and it mostly sounds alright. It would be really helpful if any of you could tell me a bit more about his work. Thanks
