  1. So vvv, how did it all go? Are you happy with your procedure?
  2. My beard is something akin to this guy's *** outside link removed by moderator *** with bald spots near the goatee area. I'm looking for a bit more coverage though in the mid-cheek area so perhaps 1,000 to 1,500 grafts would suffice. Will have it done as soon as I decide on which surgeon to choose. Will keep everyone posted.
  3. Thanks for your informative response. Yes, I read about what Dr Bhatti told you in another thread which was concerning. In terms of the density that you mention, is it not possible to get the required density in one session? I have some real bald spots along my beard line with little to no hair at all. Hope that I won't need to go back to Turkey again as it is quite a trek from Australia. At the end of the day, I don't intend to ever clean shave my beard so in my case, perhaps it's a less risky proposition. I just hope I don't have much damage done to the donor site. With every surgery comes risk my friend. Pick a good surgeon and go for it if the pro's outweigh the con's!
  4. Hi Doubletree. Appreciate your input and have noted the surgeons you have mentioned. Just out of curiosity, what is holding you back from having this procedure?
  5. Hi Guys, Newbie here from Australia. Been flicking through the forum for the last couple of days and jotted down a list of all the reputable FUE surgeons. I am look at having hair transplanted into my cheek/jawline area in order to acquire a more fuller beard and cover up some old acne scarring in the process. I met with one of Dr. Masroor Alam's reps (practices FUE in Dubai and Australia) here in Melbourne. In conclusion, I was quoted for $11,200AUD for 1000 grafts (including the airfares for the short flight to Brisbane). Thanks to this forum and to some research of my own, I have backed out of having the HT with Dr Alam. Anyone know of any surgeon(s) specializing in beard hair transplants? Thanks in advance!
