  1. Hi xabi86, What number can I reach you on? If you'd like to email your number to me directly at robert@rahalhairline.com, I'd be happy to call you!
  2. Hi xabi86, My name is Robert Ha and I'm a Senior Patient Advisor with Rahal Hair Clinic. I'm also a patient of Dr. Rahal, having had an FUT procedure just over 12 months ago. I know you've been consulting with my colleague but I'd be happy to speak with you to address your concerns and to ease your mind. Please feel free to email or call me. Alternatively, I'd be happy to contact you, if you would like to PM me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
  3. Hi Croatia44, The recovery looks like it's coming along nicely! Your hair length on the back of your head will conceal the scar and should be nearly undetectable. I'll keep following your posts and I'm excited to see your results.
  4. Hi Spanker, This was his first procedure with us. We transplanted into his hairline, frontal area and a little bit into his mid-scalp.It was approximately 65-70 cm2 area.
  5. Hi progress1010, Everything looks like it's healing well. You're well on your way! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
  6. Hi royalkhaled, Amazing result and coverage! I'm sure you're over the moon. I'll continue to follow your posts.
  7. Hi kensington, I would welcome an opportunity to speak with you about your hair transplant and answer any questions you might have. Please contact me when you can. Looking forward to hearing from you.
  8. Hi Pma, Everything looks like it's on course for a great result! I'm excited for you and will keep following your posts.
  9. Hi refuse2lose, You're looking great! Very natural looking hairline. Really happy for you! I'll keep following your posts.
  10. Latest Rahal FUT results… This 41-year-old patient wanted a youthful, natural hairline. 2511 FUT grafts (4773 hairs) were transplanted in one session. October 31st, 2013 Here is the graft breakdown: 729 - 1 hair 1303 - 2 hairs 478 - 3 hairs 1 - 4 hairs
  11. Hi samisosa, ftbpicks is correct! I'm not sure where you had your procedure done. However, at Rahal, we are strict about not touching the recipient area post-operation. We want to ensure that the grafts are secured and in place. We continue to advise patients to adhere to their cleaning schedule (morning and night) for the full two weeks post-op. I would advise against showering under running water at 8 days post-op. Once advised, our patients can have a shower under running water and gently scrub out the remaining scabs and transplanted hairs. At Rahal, we provide our patients with Vitamin E oil to drizzle on the recipient area to keep the newly transplanted grafts hydrated, as well as, a saline solution.
  12. Hi denis123, I would love the opportunity to have a phone consultation with you to answer all your questions and concerns. What day and time works best for you? I'll do my best to accommodate your schedule. Looking forward to speaking with you!
  13. Hi Shacked, At the Rahal Hair Clinic, we have two procedures a day: one FUT and one FUE. Dr. Rahal is attentive and constantly checks in with each patient frequently throughout their procedure. The patient's care, comfortability and needs are our number one priority. Our team of nurses and technicians are fully aware of each patient's state at all times. We have become really efficient at our FUE extraction. However, this is not to say that we rush the FUE extraction process, nor the FUT strip removal. We take the time needed to properly and safely extract (or strip remove) each follicular unit to yield the highest survival rate. This part of the procedure is very important to us. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email or call me. I'm always happy to provide clarification about our process.
  14. Hi taurusrisen, I'd like to explain to you where 50 grafts per squared cm comes from: Most men don't notice hair loss until they lose 50 percent of their hair density. It's called the 50% rule. Many physicians, based on this knowledge, feel that you only need to get the patient to 50% of their original density. Any more is a waste of grafts. While 50 grafts per squared cm is a great benchmark, hair characteristics including hair color, contrast between hair and scalp, hair caliber, hair texture etc. play a MUCH more important role. For example, 40 grafts per squared cm may look great on someone with blonde hair and pale complexion but thin on someone with dark hair and pale complexion. Don't focus on a number. Understand your individual hair characteristics instead, donor density, hair loss pattern, personal goals and how everything fits together. Then find a hair transplant doctor who specializes in what you need. For example, if you have fine hair, high contrast between hair and scalp but great donor density, you need a doc who can transplant above 50 grafts per squared cm. There is much more to it. However, that's the basics. Give me a shout to go over your individual case and how everything fits together. Happy to help!
