  1. My first choice is Erdogan I'm thinking he would want to do about 5k grafts on me at approximately $3 US a graft I'm looking at including travel maybe 16k With a larger transplant discount what do you think Diep would cost me for around 3500 grafts ?
  2. I'm sending out my pictures to get some consults from different doctors first one I got back was from Dr Keser Got this back today still waiting for Lorenzo Anyone want to recommend some other doctors I should shoot my pictures to also ? Hello Mark First of all we would like to thank you for your interest. Dr.Keser has thoroughly analysed the photographs and considers that you need around 2000-2500 FUE grafts hair transplantation rebuilding a new hairline, filling temple points in a conservative manner blending with your existing hair. Dr Keser is performing FUE technique with manual punch method since 2003, using instrumentation that is invented and developed by himself. Each Follicle we remove from the donor area at the back of the head is accounted for, healthy and intact and every follicle is placed by Dr Keser manually. We do not use nurses, assistants or technicians during the procedure. Dr Keser carries out the entire procedure using his many years of surgical expertise. Our technique uses no scalpel, no stitches and no Strip Excision scarring. Our price is €3.50 per graft. We offer complementary airport transfer, a translator during your procedure and the necessary medication during and after the surgery. Appointments can be confirmed with a copy of flight details or €500 deposit downpayment. We generally make appointments 2-3 months in advance however there are earlier availabilities. Please let me know if you are interested. Looking forward to hearing from you.
  3. Interesting but in the end whats really more important technique or results ? Erdogan has a pretty solid track record of constant positive reviews and results So thats what makes me lean hard towards him I figure you really can't go wrong with the guy Am I wrong ?
  4. Thanks for taking the time to reply Yes I've been on Hormone replacement for close to 15yrs already twice weekly Testosterone and HCG. I was a competitive bodybuilder and used and abused anabolics big time in my younger days but I really didn't seem to loose much hair from it as u can see in the below pic that was taken after my crazy usage years. Anyways now I'm working with a super knowledge doctor that specializes in HRT and have regular blood work done. Interesting before I starting Fin my DHT levels were quite high at 120 and then quickly dropped to a low of just 13 after 1mg a day but I'm still having accelerated hair loss so who knows must be my genetics and age catching up on me ? Your guess is as good as mine ? So on to getting multiple consults that's really great advice for sure and your 1000% right. It would be extremely helpful if you or anyone could be nice enough to just post a few of the best alternative to Erdogan doctors you would send your pictures to to hit up for a consult if you had my particular hair loss age scenario
  5. I'm actually a bit afraid he might shoot me down and not agree to treat me considering I still have some hair up there but also have a fairly large area of diffusion which may translate to alot of shock loss to my existing hair which might not make me an ideal candidate ? Am i wrong ? It was such a relief to finally settle on a doctor after years of research I really don't have a second choice lined up and not looking forward to going through that struugle again. Thinking I might be completely bald by the time I can settle on a second choice Almost 60yrs old want to have some time to enjoy life with hair again
  6. Just looking for some feedback here on what might be the best options for me going forward to deal with my particular diffused hair loss issue at my age ? I'm 59 now been slowly loosing for decades but in the past few years specifically the past year my hair loss just seems to be really accelerating now alot faster to the point where its become just to noticable and I feel I'm ready to have a HT I've been on minoxidil for over 10yrs and out of shear desperation 1mg a day of Fin for about 9 months now the Fin don't seem to be helping my hair loss has become more noticeable with in the time I been on it ? After years and years of daunting research on this and other hair loss forums I finally nailed down which doctor i wanted to use Erdogan what a relief and emailed him my below pictures for evaluation After getting this below reply back from him with my picture sent back circled I'm not sure how to proceed looking here for some advice I do plan to stay on fin at point "After analyzing your photos Dr. Koray Erdoğan found that you have high percentile of miniaturized hair. The surgery at this stage can cause shock loss. Therefore Dr. Koray Erdogan recommends Finasteride to give strength to your hair and increase density. It might help you increase thickness and density of the existing hair. The hair is going to grow stronger and thicker. If you have any further questions I would be happy to answer. Best Regards,"
  7. I'm US Florida near Miami Luckly my insurance paid for it so it cost me nothing otherwise would or cost around 10k USD. This is the 4th procedure I'm having breathing problems I've had also surgery inside of my nose but they did alot of work bone graphs and complete opened Rhinoplasty my nose looking pretty now but still healing inside can take a year to see final results and still not breathing so good
  8. I just had a complete opened Rhinoplasty or as they call it nose job with bone graphs the works 2 months now still healing from it
  9. Interesting My hair loss is very similar I just did a consult with ASMED and Dr Erdogan sent me back one of my pictures along with an email saying After analyzing your photos Dr. Koray Erdoğan found that you have high percentile of miniaturized hair. The surgery at this stage can cause shock loss. Therefore Dr. Koray Erdogan recommends Finasteride to give strength to your hair and increase density.
  10. Something seems off to me sites says Dr. Koray Erdogan Turkey- $2.78 But Erdogan's site says 2.5 Euro/graft which converts to $3.10 ? Am I reading something wrong ?
  11. Came across this HT pricing page I never seen it posted here thought it might be helpful ? Wondering do the prices look accurate ? All Hair Transplant Doctor Pricing - My Hair Transplant Cost
  12. Not necessarily looking to go on the cheap looking to get the best possible results and not get ripped off in the process As far as Nader goes not nearly enough reviews or solid feedback on the guy and definitely I don't want to spend the next few years going through multiple procedures continually shaving my head waiting Any other suggestions ?
  13. If i had to guess i would say its a combination of 3 things age related genetics first along with consistent hormone replacement my DHT levels were in the high zone till I started on Fin now my levels are super low but after about 7 months on the stuff still feel like I'm loosing hair and number 3 constantly coloring my hair is not helping just gray hair makes me look like game over Grandpa not ready for that look yet As far as excessive exercise goes never heard of any study ever saying exercise has any effect of hair loss I'm just going to 24hr fitness on the old mans routine train one day rest 2 days For me Its been a slow hair loss but my hair looked pretty solid all the way into my 50s not 40s The roids didn't really have much effect on it at all its just in the past few years its started becoming more noticeable on top slowly thinning to the point where one day here i am. I'm pretty lucky both my father and brother had had very little hair left by age 40 Anyways don't really matter much at this point how or why I'm losing it I'm just trying to get some advice here on my best options to move forward for my particular stage age and type of hair loss ? I been kicking around the forums for years struggling just to make the choice on which doctor to go with and I feeling relieved settling on Erdogan dudes got like 100% solid i reviews and impressive results ? Do you think hes the best choice for my situation or is there someone else i should maybe consider first maybe someone local traveling to Turkey to get this done is like insane How many graphs you think i will need ?
  14. Thanks for the replies Approximately how many graphs do you think I need to do it right ?
  15. I been using a Tween Time Hair Loss Stick for years takes a min to apply and looks very natural I'd be in trouble without it Wondering if anyone else uses it ?
  16. No problem friend just trying to get a little feed back here from people that know better is all I'm pretty much settled on going to Erdogan but not looking forward to traveling all the way Turkey crazy. So I'm thinking might be possible to get the same or better results locally with less graphs then Erdogan which would = less money which in the end maybe cost almost the same Just its like a struggle to get actual prices here in US like top secret Funny how most international doctors have no problem posting that prices up front on there sites
  17. LOL sounds like a deposition or being questioned under oath Are you or have you ever been on Yeah I been on HRT for maybe 15yrs already all monitored by one of the best doctors in the country that specializes in it. My blood work gets done every 6 months On my last Labs my DHT levels were at a super low of 13L Normal ranges being between 16-79 ng/dL so don't think high DHT levels are an issue here? I'm an old time competitive body builder used and abused every drug you could imagine back in my crazy younger years before age 40 and as u can see in my picture at age 40 I hadn't really lost much hair from it all It's been very very slow loss thinning receding mostly from temple area only from late 20s but in the past 2 or 3 years I have seeing alot of crazy loss up top and crown (vertex) area before then I really had no loss up there ? Gotta be hereditary loss ?
  18. Thanks for the reply Yeah for sure that's the plan definitely want hold off and give the Fin a try but realistically I don't really see the stuff bringing back much hair lucky if it slows or stops my loss ? So looking ahead to maybe later this year at almost 59 want to have some time left to enjoy life with hair ? One thing I was thinking was that with the fact that Erdogan usually uses maybe 30% more graphs and along with the difficulty involved in traveling from US to Turkey there might be some local doctors who can get me compatible or better results at almost compatible pricing coz of the less graphs the price might even out a bit that was kind of why I was asking how many graphs people think Erdogan would recommend in my case ?
  19. Just looking for some critique or feedback on my below hair loss pictures link focusing on which is best way for me to proceed at my particular age and stage to get the best results possible ? For some unknown reason my hair loss seems to have started accelerating in the past maybe 2 years more to the point where its getting almost impossible to conceal I'm (guessing its genetics) at my age ? I been on minoxidil constantly twice a day for like over 10yrs and now out of desperation and in preparation for a future HT I'm taking 1mg x day of Fin started about 7 months ago with little to no visible slow down of my hair loss so far ? Anyways I'm looking over ripe and feeling ready I've been kicking around this and other forums for over 10yrs struggling as I'm sure many here are to settle on which doctor to use it can be a daunting task Anyways I'm strongly leaning towards Erdogan I haven't consulted with him yet wondering how many graphs he will say I need ? Anyone care to make a prediction ? Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss and Transplant Photos
