  1. So, i have consulted with several Dr`s over the web and all have been pretty much the same. about 3500grafts for ? mature hairline reconstruction, conservative approach due to age and loss pattern. Advised to get on Meds asap ( still waiting for fin proscription ) Finally i decided on Dr. Feriduni and am up for surgery july 2015 i feel very hopeful and I'm sure Feridunis clinic will take good care of me. for a hole week i think i decided and changed my mind at least 50times each day, and the biggest reason i decided to take a leap of faith and get it done was the hope that, even if all fails regarding density etc, i could get away with having a super short cut with the illusion of a full and nice hairline, which is what i see as a last resort but still a huuuge improvement from where I'm at now. its a long wait, but i will be around here in the meantime, and keep you posted with my HT when time comes.
  2. Ok, thanks guys. I will talk with my Doctor again and get a hold of Fin asap. Lets say i can go on Fin without any big sides, and that the minox5% gives me back some thickness up top. What am i looking at aprox? graft wise.? Or even if i don't, but the loss don't progress as of now? ive consulted a few top docs online, but awaiting response from all before i decide.
  3. Does any Patiens still prefer/want to do FUT instead of FUE? and if yes, is it soley because of the higher number of graft available in 1 session? or is price difference big? The reason i ask is that i myself has this dilemma, i have made a thread in the FUE section ( to fue, or not to fue) where i seek advice and help. There is pictures attached there, but ill attach here also, so that i can get some advice here also. The reason i consider FUT now, is that someone said that i may need up to 4.000 grafts, to get a satisfying result.? The € Price is not my concern, but the fact that i want to make this one HT and fingers crossed, that it will last a long long time. And if i make a lesser graft FUE session, and need to book another one down the line. And hopefully now in 2014, the scarring is minimal ? quick info : 27yrs , losing steady since 19yrs, was figuring it would stabilize earlier as my father etc, but did not. just starter minox5% <1week ago, and the doc said to give it 3-4 months before he would send me to a specialist in which is the only way to get prescription for Propecia here.
  4. ok, i will consider going on meds and hope that can stop the progression. I don't really know if its been getting worse in the last few months, or if its just that i cut my hair real short , and am much more self aware of my hair now.
  5. Hello, sorry for lame title. i would really appreciate som advice regarding my hair situation , and my options. im 27 now, have been losing hair for 5+ years, but have always expected it to stop, because my father and grandfather have similar loss at age 56 and 82. but recently i have lost more than them in the middle/front. I read up on FUE and thought it would be my salvation, but after seeing my pictures and heard from an online consultant that my hair on the top is thinning and will fall of eventually, kinda destroyed me, as i never had expected it to go that far. So I'm coming her to hopefully find someone with familiar loss, and cases where hairloss stops at a certain point.? I was 95% on going thru with a FUE, but after herding that i need to plan ahead, to maybe save hair for a second FUE in the near future, i got the air kicked out of me a bit, therefore i would appreciate som advice. here are some pictures of situation :
