  1. Hi, I was curious to know whether having a repeat/top-up FUE procedure could possibly damage existing FUE grafts in the recipient area? For example, say you underwent an FUE procedure in 2017 and then needed a 'top-up' as still slightly thin in recipient areas in 2019, would the subsequent incision and implantation process cause damage to existing follicles?
  2. thanks for the advice guys, @BUSA - most of the communication was in Spanish so just double checking to make sure I haven't missed anything! Plus my paranoid nature probably contributes to asking these questions lol I'm starting to get the thinned out look again and a large amount of hairs just seem to wash off after showering but I guess if that is normal then shouldnt be a worry at this stage
  3. Hi guys I took the plunge and had an FUE just over a month ago. I am getting a lot of hairs falling off the recipient area after washing and even after just lightly brushing my hair with my hand on the recipient area. Was wondering if this is normal? As for Dr Lorenzo - the guy is good, the result so far is very satisfying. Just hoping I get good growth when the time comes!
  4. Any preferences if you were in my position?
  5. Ive attached the pic, looks worse than I thought!
  6. I am a NW5 and wanted opinions regarding which I should go for if I may. FUE with Dr Lorenzo or FUT with Dr Hasson? I would like to add density to the frontal third of my head so that I can spike up my hair as a style, I am prepared to forgo the crown/accept light coverage to give early balding at crown look. I am prepared to keep my hairline at its current receding level in order to save grafts for future and achieve higher density on other regions of my scalp. My density is average in donor region. Which would you suggest as the best procedure and Dr to give these results? Can both acquire a densely packed forntal third of scalp look or is one Dr/method likely to be superior? Sometimes I wish there was only one procedure to choose from as opposed to FUE and FUT at least that makes decision easier! thanks
  7. so whats the verdict on the yield Lorenzo obtains vs the yield of top FUT surgeons? Also Dr Ximena Vila - what is the general opinion regarding her work, does she assist Lorenzo?
  8. Hi everyone, just wanted to gauge some ooinions. Who would you guys recommend as the best strip surgeons for producing a favourable scar outcome? Also what is the general consensus regarding sutures vs staples for minimising scar in donor region? Many thanks in advance!
  9. HI, would anyone recommend who would be in the list of top FUT/strip surgeons in the world? Based on good aesthetic results, hair density and minimal scar visibility/complications Thanks in advance
  10. Thanks for the replies everyone! Since I am reaching an advanced stage of hair loss I was wondering whether FUT would be more appropriate or even a combination FUT + FUE in order to maximise donor supply abd also preserve grafts for a future procedure if needed? I was thinking maybe 3000FUT and around 1000 FUE - the FUE grafts being utilised for restoring the hairline and anterior part of the head and FUT grafts to fill the rest?

  12. If you had the choice to pick between the following doctors for FUE, assessing for greatest yield, good coverage of recipient area, lowest transection rate and overall aesthetic appearance who would you choose? -Dr Erdogan -Dr Lorenzo -Dr Bisanga -Dr Feriduni -Dr Farjo (Bessam and Nilofer) (I am a Nw4 with average donor supply, 30yrs old, donor density average 70/cm and not on any meds)
  13. Hi, I am 30 years old, Norwood 4 - 5 Need hairline restoring as well as frontotemporal regions and crown area. I had a quote from Dr Erdogan who suggest 5000FUs FUE with density of 50-50 grafts/cm Not sure if this is a bit unrealisitic or too much of a risk considering the limitations of high FU FUE procedures and problem of yield?
