  1. Wow looks very good. Dr. Diep is one of the doctors I am strongly considering when I get my HT done. Could you possibly post another pic of what your hair looked like before the transplant? The one above is tough to see.
  2. Last years Masters: http://i.imgur.com/1RWoEjo.jpg Today: http://i.imgur.com/SuXJbgy.jpg That was the only pic I could find of today, but in the interviews you could tell his hairline was MUCH thicker. Looks like finasteride or something is working for him.
  3. Really? How has that worked for you? This gives me hope. At the time of your transplant, how was your hair loss? Was it falling out a a high rate, or had it slowed down considerably? Or did your hair loss seemed to stop all together? I'm interested because, as you know, if the natural hairs continue to fall out you could be left with only the transplanted hair which often times looks unnatural. Are you worried about this? Thanks!
  4. Wow! This is one of my favorite results i've seen on this site. It looks so natural. I have many similarities to your case: Im asian, similar hair texture, and have about the same diffuse hair loss pattern (although your 'widows peak' so to speak is a little fuller than mine) Only thing is i'm 25. After seeing your results, I would also sacrifice some of my temples to get a more dense hairline/top..although I do want to lower the temples just a tad. Have you been taking Propecia since the operation? Thats my only problem, I did not respond well to it and had bad sides. My hair continues to fall out and i'm afraid I won't be able to get adequate results like this without taking it fin. Unless I wait till I'm completely bald before having an HT, but then I wont get results nearly as good as this.
  5. ^yes please! we have very similar hair characteristics/balding pattern and I am very interested in seeing how it turned out!
  6. Hey Drew, looks good so far! Thanks for posting pics and videos, we have similar hair type and hair loss pattern so i'm really interested in viewing your progression. Keep it up!
  7. So you're saying they CAN transplant the hairs so the hairs "bends" are in the same direction? All too often I see transplants thats just don't look good because the hair looks like it has no natural direction to it...sort of just looks like a wire-y mess on the forelock of their head. This is what I am really worried about. I brush my hair to the side and it sort of naturally grows that way. I would hope to retain that look after the HT.
  8. (I don't mean hair direction) My hair can be classified as wavy, but its really pretty straight with a bend to it. Each hair has sort of a "C" shape, but with less of a bend than an actual "C". Anyways, the hairs all grow out bent in the same general direction, and I wanted to know if doctors can take that into account when transplanting hair. I'm not talking about the direction (angle) in which they transplant each hair, i'm talking about the orientation each hair is transplanted so the waves of my hair all go in the same general direction. It would look weird if my hair grew out bending in all different directions. Even when I comb it to the side (as i usually do), there are usually one or two hairs that naturally grew in opposite direction as the rest and they always stick, or pop out even when I use hair product. I would hate to have a transplant and not be able to simply comb it to one side. Edit: Sorry if this was confusing to you, it's a very hard thing to describe in words.
