Began receding at the temples by age 18. Consulted with a Dermatologist who recommended Ionil T shampoo for a psoriasis type condition and I am sure the Ionil T shampoo enabled me to hold on to most of my hair that I would have otherwise lost.

First HT in 2004 for temple recession with in hindsight was very successful but I always felt that my Dr had been too conservative. Returned for another procedure with him 10 years later in 2014 seeking an improvement and then found myself on the HT roundabout as my surgeon seemed to leave more work to do after each procedure which led to another & another. Remarkably I suffered terrible shock loss in the left temporal area, from a tiny touch up procedure of only 30 grafts to the centre hairline in February 2015, some 2-3 inches away from where the work was being done.

I attempted a repair with a different surgeon in June 2016 which was somewhat successful but it has not got me back to where I was prior to seeking more work in 2014. I feel completely trapped in this HT cycle now and I don't know how to get off. Presently seeking help for my mental health & state of mind which has been left devastated by this ordeal.
