Scarring hasn't healed the best, it's visible if you look for it but isn't visible on its own behind the thick back hair. I honestly don't care at this point, cause that region is covered all the time and doesn't stand out or bother me in any way.

Another thing that I added to my regimen which I believe helped me was my regular exercising and healthy eating (which included eating lean meat and lots of vegies). If you don't have the habit of working out like I do, then I would suggest you start taking daily 45-60mins walks to help get the blood flowing all over the body and giving the planted grafts all the more reason to spurt hair from. Hey sambaba1983, I got your message in my inbox about you asking for advice in regards to my successful HT with Dr. Radha. Below are my advices which I can give you from my experience with HT with Dr. Radha Rani and almost 1.5yrs since my post-op. 1) Chill out ! Don't go all crazy posting all over the forums and contacting anyone and everyone linked to the clinic. I understand your concern, I went through it as well. 2) Regularly take your Finasteride 1mg orally and topical application of Minidoxil. 3) I tried contacting the Doc myself, she told me that she is out of the country on some family issue, give her a break and the benefit of doubt before blazing all your guns on her. 4) HT results take time, don't expect to get better in a jiffy. You will get worse before getting better. I can tell from experience that it sucks to be in your position, but trust me it will be worth it (you've seen my results). 5) And lastly this advice is the most beneficial and the most difficult. Forget you ever had a transplant and just stop worrying/stressing/thinking/dreaming about it. Mentally you need to relax, if you over-stress about this you won't get the results you want. I went many days without thinking about my head, until people commented about how my surgery failed, how I wasted my money and how ugly I looked. Trust me, I know how you feel, just give it time and relax, it will all work out. It may take 10, 12 or maybe 15 months but eventually it will workout provided you do all that is required from your side. Little growth is visible from the grafted area, still negligible for what should be expected.

The dreadful period begins, all them grafts be gone just the grafted texture remains plus experiencing SHOCK loss plus the scar- red and scary as ever, Just hoping for the best to come.

In about 25 days post-OP I started experiencing SHOCK LOSS from under my donor site, which was quite a SHOCK for me. Below are the pics: I called Dr.Rani and inquired about this, she told me that this was uncommon and happens to some patients and advised me to apply minidoxil to the area everyday.

After the surgery I was advised by the Doc to get on medications to minimize further hair loss. Finasteride and Minidoxil soln. everyday was prescribed. My donor site was quite healthy thus the Doc was able to get 3542 grafts implanted. Below are my pics post-op 1 week pics:

Hello HRN community, I'm writing in here to report my hair transplant progress. It's been 9 months since my surgery and it's been a wild ride to say the least. Being a silent spectator of the forum posts here at HRN, I'm glad I made the right decision going through all the experiences (good and bad) posted by various people here. Background: Indian Origin, straight hair, thinning hair, receding hairline since 19yrs of age, family history of hair loss, consistent non-veg diet, ex-smoker, no medications used prior to HT. Doctor: Chose Dr. Radha Rani Palakruthi because of her results, patient reviews and her one patient per day policy. On meeting her I realized how charming and affectionate of a person she is. Looking at my pictures Dr. Radha adviced that I'd need around 3200 grafts for a healthy and dense hairline, assuming that the donor area would be healthy. At 26 years of age, these below are my pics pre-op.

It has been about 22 days since my surgery with Dr. Radha, and honestly I don't have anything to say about my progress other than the fact that I've lost some of my grafted hair (which is expected) and hope to see results by the 6-7 month mark. I will post my detailed experience with pics once I get to the 7 month mark, when I actually have results to show.

I had my FUT procedure done on the 2nd of Jan with Dr. Radha, and I can attest to all the things other members here have mentioned about Dr. Radha. 1) My surgery lasted for ~10 hours, she was present there the whole time. ( I know cause I was chatting with her now and then during the surgery). 2) She does only one surgery per day, meaning you get her (and her 11 assistants) complete attention all through the day/evening. 3) From the first meeting with her you will realize how genuine and sincere a doctor she is. From what I understood from the interactions with her, she loves her work and the money is not the first thing she talks about. In fact I paid my payment post surgery, goes to show that she ain't running a mill-house for minting money only.

I too had my HT with Dr. Radha around 14 days ago. She gave me two types of sutures at the donor site, one was the non-dissolvable type (to be removed after 5-6 days) and the other is the dissolvable type. I wanted to know when does the dissolvable type get completely dissolved.
