  1. I'd like to share my strip scar repair story that started with a bad transplant done in the 1990s. The original transplant was the worst decision of my life. It gave me a frizzy hairline and worse, left me with an obvious surgical scar. Soon after the procedure I just wanted it reversed and to shave my head, but I couldn't and I was devastated. After years of shot confidence that hurt the most important aspects of my life; women and work I summoned the courage to once again go for surgery; this time for repair the damage. I did the surgery with Dr. Jones near Toronto. It involved removing the old hairline plugs and transplanting them back into the old scar. We also took out some new Follecular Unit Extraction (FUE) hairs to add more density. After a few sessions I can finally buzz my head with confidence - SEE PICS. I know the technology today is light-years ahead and there are good doctors out there who can restore your hair if you want. But also know that if you want to get your head back to where it was there are real options too.
  2. Hi Blake, Thanks for taking the time to edit and guide me as to proper use of the site. I’m new here and guilty of not carefully familiarizing myself with the Terms of Service. I’m actually both a patient of Dr. Jones and someone who has offered to help other patients share their experiences. My intention is to bring value to your site and help men improve their lives. I’m going to re-read carefully the Terms of Service and will contact you in a private message with a few questions on how best to go about this with these goals in mind. I believe in operating with utmost integrity and transparency – indeed Dr. J. is uncompromising on these values as well. Cheers, Adam

My strip scar repair with Dr. Robert Jones

This album illustrates the result of the procedure I had with Dr. Robert Jones on October 27, 2008 to repair a bad hair transplant done by a different doctor (Dr. Taylor) in 1995. The original transplant was the worst decision of my life, it left me with an ugly and apparent surgical scar as well as wiry unnatural looking transplanted hair along my hairline. My goal was to be able to shave my head again with confidence; with Dr. Jones help, we vastly reduced the scar. The repair surgery I had involved taking out individual plugs called FUE (follicular unit extraction) to then transplant into my original strip donor scar. Secondarily I had my frizzy donor grafts popped out. The session involved the removal of about 200 FUE units, and having them transplanted back into the scar to camouflage it. I ended up having 3 sessions roughly 6 months apart, but the second two were primarily to pop out the old grafts on my front hairline. Each session lasted approx 2 hours. It hurt but was worth it. 4 or 5 days off work are needed if you want the scar or red dots from the removed plugs to heal enough not to be apparent to work colleagues (or to wear a hat). I’m very pleased with Doctor Jones’ work, he gave me back my life.
  4. Hi Steve, I understand the cost of treatment up here in Canada is considerably lower (lower dollar, etc.). Dr. Jones has done hundreds of these procedures and can best tell you directly himself. I only have the details for my own procedure (he keeps patient info very confidential unless people want to share). Dr. J would be delighted to hear from you and can be reached by email at **outside link removed** He's an excellent surgeon and good man. If you want to reach me directly just inbox me or write at **outside link removed by moderator** Adam
  5. I'm posting to share life-changing FUE hair transplant results for a 45 year old man at Dr. Robert Jones Clinic in Oakville (Toronto), Canada. In two 3000 FUE sessions in March and October of 2013. This gentleman went from very balding (Norwood 4 or 5) to a head full of hair. I've posted the results, including photos of the grafts used. Note these are not my personal results; But I am a very grateful patient of Dr. Jones' who is helping share other men's success stories. Here is the video: **outside link removed by moderator** Here are the photos: Photos 1 and 2: Before Photos 3-5: Results Photos 6 and &: 3000 + 3000 FUE grafts used
