My experience with Dr. Panine has been great so far. I had researched a few other doctors but ultimately went with Dr. Panine because of his experience and the service I received pre-surgery. During my consultation with Stuart he explained all the basics about the procedures and showed me a ton of before and after pictures of patients that had similar hair loss to mine, which all look very good. When Stuart was done Dr. Panine came in to meet with me. He asked me what bothered me about my hair loss and what my expectations were, I explained to him that I wanted to get as much coverage and thickness as possible in the frontal area of my head. Dr. Panine proceeded to draw out a hairline for me that he felt was appropriate for my age and hair loss. Then he explained to me his reason for putting my hairline where he did. Dr. Panine then went over in detail his way of doing the procedure and most importantly let me know that he would be involved in the whole procedure including placing of the grafts.
On the day of procedure Dr. Panine and his staff made sure I was comfortable and relaxed even though I wasn't very nervous and wanted to get the ball rolling. Dr. Panine came in went over the placement of my hairline again and gave me a mirror and wanted mine and my family's approval of what he drew prior to starting the procedure. It was a long day the procedure took about 14 hours. The original game plan was to do about 3,500 grafts. When my procedure was over I found out that they did over 4,300 grafts but I was still only charged for 3,500. The next day I returned to the office to have my bandage removed and was told everything looked excellent. My pain and discomfort was really minimal and the healing of the grafts was fast. I was back at work one week after surgery. I have attached pictures of my surgery and 2 weeks post op, feel free to leave any comments on how everything looks. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would recommend Dr. Panine to anyone looking to have a hair restoration procedure.
