Here are the 10th day (todays) pictures. The crusts have started to fall off.. i see few crusts in my cap as well.. the skin on the procedure area looks normal to other area of my head and after the post op for the first time i went out with my spouse without wearing any cap.. and let me tell you.. no one had a strange look after looking at me Although i have a concern, i saw few hair attached with crust (not sure if thats crust or the root of the hair) fall off.. not sure if this has damaged the hair follicles permanently from the root. its been 10 days post op.. how many days it generally takes to ensure the grafts are permanently locked in side ?? I have not been taking Finastride at all.. had a severe headache, bodyache, migrane like effect and was feeling sick over all for 2 days.. and yes, kind of didnt feel the morning erections as well.. i am not touching that med again !!!,, will rely on the natural suppliments instead, and carry on with Minoxidil 5%. Let me know what you guys think of the progress..

Glad to know that you never had any side effects... i think it has to do a lot physcologically as well.. i mean after taking the tablet, if one keeps thinking abt sexual disorder, he is bound to get one.. its all in the mind.. but there is some amount of risk and that keeps lingering around... Its just that when i read about all the horror stories on the net, law suit action by one guy, destroyed life etc... it still is scary to me.. Thx fr ur response

So when i stop it, the effect it had while using it will eventually be lost... so instead why not be on Min, Biotin and other vital minerals and vitamin tablets .. jus a thought.. i could be wrong

How about Finastride ? can this drug be left alone and rather opt for an alternative medicine which does not have severe effects

Hi, I recently concluded with a hair transplant surgery and its been just 1 week now Now i am at a stage where i am suppose to start the medicines , Fin (oral Pills ), Biotin, and Minoxidil 2%. I am scared to death to take Fin pills considering the side effects it is known for. As far as i am concerned, i have a very healthy sexual life , horny as hell and don't want to ruin it and for the other matter of fact, we are planning for a baby and i am completely confused about this !!! Is it just fine to continue with Biotin and Min and get off with Fin completely ? I would'nt have gone for surgery if i had to be on this dreaded medicine, even though few reports says that the sides vanishes once the dosage is stopped completely. However i feel its a risk in the first palce. There are posts where few patients have expressed drastic side effects post consuming the first pill of Fin... I am scared...need help pls

Finally... i took the plunge and got my HT done with Dr Bhatti on 14th April The experience was good till now and i hope the results comes out good. In the whole procedure, i felt a little pain during harvesting. it could be due to the Anesthecia not taking its full effect. However i was not let to count the grafts when asked to the technicians as the said it will lose 2 hours which didnt make sense to me. I wanted to cover my frontal part of the head and and intially Dr Bhatti mentioned that i would need around 2200 grafts to cover all of my bald spots, however post counting, the number reached to 2419 and i paid accordingly. Singles : 583 Doubles : 930 Triples : 906 Till now i dont feel any pain post surgery, however there is some feeling of itch on the head adn unfortunately i cant do anything about it and it seems to be normal to get some itch post op Attaching my Pre-Op pictures taken by me. will post few more once the doctor shares the pictures taken from his cam this weekend. Hi Traction, I am considering HT from Dr Bhatti. Can you please tell me after how many days of post -op, one can freely roam without wearing a cap or anything..does it really look odd and ugly and people start to recognise that you have got something done on the head ?
