  1. I've seen SMP, it looks bad. The small dots expand over time and you end up like a joke, it will never look natural. There is no alternative to a real follicle
  2. Only little bit of beard is left and I'm not willing to give all of my beard, I stupidly removed chest hair 25 years ago Such a misfortune
  3. At least 5000-6000 scalp grafts wasted and didn't grow from previous procedures. I can only imagine what result I could have achieved with those precious grafts 😢
  4. I grew my hair on top a bit longer and keep my sides and back very short to minimize the contrast. I use toppik on top as density is rather low, my balding area was so big to cover and scalp donor wasted for nothing with previous procedures. Main problem as can be seen in pictures is crown and sides connection.
  5. Have no idea. My hair is curly, maybe that's one of the reason. It was also a long session which he and his team extracted the hair during the morning and only implanted them at evening time. All of these long hours the grafts kept out of the body which also affect survival rates. Bottom line there was no growth at all and priceless donor area wasted.
  6. I'll tell you which clinic I went before, it was quite long ago and should not be a secret. I only state facts. The first clinic was Dr. A's clinic, which was a complete failure. After that another session which he offered to "fix" it which again further depleted my donor with no growth at all. Third procedure was with Dr. Bhatti for over 3K grafts. Total grafts implanted before Eugenix was around 12K grafts, you can see the result in the pictures taken before the procedure with Eugenix. I saw a dermatologist several times, no issues with my skin or scalp. It was merely failed procedures by those clinics as I carefully followed instructions thereafter, the same as I did with my last procedure.
  7. Hello guys, I was very busy last months and was occupied with some personal issues so didn't find time to post my progress here. I was in contact with the clinic the whole year to monitor the progress. For those who don't know my story, I suffer hair loss more than 20 years, from the age of 18. From a very young age I lost all of my hair very rapidly and became slik bald full NW7 at the age of 27. I had 3 FUE sessions before my last one with Eugenix. The first one for 4200 grafts with a doctor who was the FUE pioneer in India in 2004 which ended up very bad with no growth. I felt frustrated and after 1.5 year I contacted that doctor who could not tell what went wrong and invited me for another session which further depleted my limited donor and again provided no growth. I tried to get over with it and accept my nw7 baldness. After that I completely shaved my head but my bald head bothered me so much and affected my self confidence. I couldn't see myself in the mirror. Those of you that lost all of their hair in their 20's know exactly what I am talking about and how much it affects you. I became depressed and tried to get another session. All major clinic refused me for any further session but then a known and veteran doctor from India offered me 3k grafts session from my left over donor. I went to his clinic and got the procedure done, but after 6 months I realized the transplanted hair not growing as expected and I was fully frustrated. At the end I can say that barely 1K grafts grew. Again I shaved my head and felt sorry for myself. Last year I realized that beard hair can provide good results so I search clinic over the net and saw many clinic results. Most of clinics refused me. One of the clinic that was standing out in my reseach was Eugenix which presented lots of incredible results of severe cases in their youtube chanel and after calculating all aspects I decided to go with them. Since last procedures left me with no scalp donor, Dr. Arika had to use my beard and groin hair, only few hundreds grafts were extracted from my scalp. This time it was completly different my hair started to grow immidiatly after the procedure and I could see big changes even after 4 months. Granted, my hair is not full and dense. The crown area is still sparse but I have an acceptable coverage in the front and mid scalp. I'll discuss with the clinic about another session for my crown and sides, maybe put a bit more from beard and body hair and try to extract more from scalp and replace those empty donor spots with smp. I keep my back and sides very short to minimize the density contrast between donor and recipient areas.
  8. I remember Dr. Sethi explained me that when the hair root is extracted is has to be extracted with some tissues surrounding it, that contributes to early growth and high survival rates.
  9. Thank you guys for encouraging me, much appreciated.
  10. I take Finasteride. Too bad I stopped taking it 15 years ago when I still had some hair. I am a NW7 now, I take finasteride because my donor area is also thinning out due to DHT
  11. I had my procedure with Eugenix 6 weeks ago so obviously I cannot discuss in terms of results. Most of the transplanted hair have fallen in the last weeks. Dr. Arika Bansal was involved in my procedure and made the slits. She is a very experienced doctor and so do the technicians. I suffer from a severe hair loss and my scalp donor was already depleted from other three failed sessions from other clinics, so the last session was mainly BHT taken from my beard, groin and thighs. I saw some impressive results from Eugenix of patients with severe baldness, I also met in the clinic some former patients and witnessed firsthand, very natural results that I could never tell it was a hair transplant.
  12. Thank you my friend. Hope mine will be as good as yours
  13. Thank you bro. I went again to that clinic because they offered me free repair and they were so confident that the hair will grow. That clinic was also in India. In 2006 FUE was relatively new, few doctors around the world performed it and it was very costly and that clinic offered it for $4 per grafts, I could not afford other clinic as they charged more than double that amount. Dr. Arika which performed on me and Dr. Pradeep from Eugenix have lots of experience with FUE, and explained me that because my hair root is very curly the transaction rate were probably very high if not handled correctly so that could explain why it didn't grow. It is much more complicated to extract curly follicles without damaging them. The other thing that can explain the poor result I had is that with my previous procedures they first extracted the grafts, then made the slits and only after, while the grafts were several hours outside the body, they were implanted into the recipient area. In Eugenix they perform it differently. Since time out of body is crucial for grafts survival, they make the slits before and then simultaneously extract and implant the grafts so they stay the least time out of body. They have large team, everyone is doing other thing at the same time, some do the extraction, some prepare the extracted grafts in the insertion needle, others insert into recipient, it is done very efficiently.
  14. Thanks all of you guys for the support. Really appreciate it.
  15. I've been a forum member since 2014, started to bald 20 years ago and had 3 FUE sessions before which did not succeed and left me with a damn depleted scalp donor. My experience with hair restoration surgeries so far are not good to say the least. I had my first FUE performed in 2006 with a very reputed clinic, I had a 4200 graft session with very poor results, no more than 10% of grafts grew and I losted a huge amount of priceless scalp grafts, the second corrective procedure was done again by that clinic in 2008, another session of 3K scalp grafts and 1K beard grafts, final results were very poor again, 6 years later in 2014 I had another 3200 FUE grafts session performed by another clinic, the results were better but many of the transplanted grafts started to shed a year or two later, so I suspected they were not taken from the safe zone. So, over 11K grafts so far and I am still completely bald. Over the last months I made a lot of research for a clinic to come for a corrective procedure. I came to Eugenix after I was declined by many clinics in the world and with not much of a donor to work with. My scalp donor is completely depleted and there are lots of bald areas to cover on top. I had a 3613 grafts session with Eugenix which mostly taken from my beard. Other body parts that were used are groin to add density to the crown and thighs to soften the hairline. Unfortunately, I stupidly removed my chest hair long ago so it could not be used. Only few hundreds grafts could be taken from scalp. Grafts from temples were extracted and replaced since the hair direction was wrong. So far I'm 5 days post procedure. My beard completely healed by now.
