  1. It varies widely, as a general rule of thumb. Visible hair loss isn't visible until around 40 fu per cm2. Donors can range from 65-80 fu per cm2.
  2. The idea that you can get maximum 6,000 grafts is antiquated. There are several men who’ve had 9k+ from FUE that look good. @Bandit90 @captaincalico @Gatsby @mtb@HugoX these are just a few. FUT doesn’t leave you with more grafts. You’re removing the grafts, so those grafts are gone. It will leave you with a scar that you may need to add grafts to afterwards. Remember you need optimal density to conceal a strip scar. Getting subsequent FUEs reduces density, which Will w post the scar. I will add hattingen to the mix. I love Nader, but high Norwoods isn’t something he does often. Hattingen certainly do more high Norwoods.
  3. The work looks good. I am actually scheduled to visit Dr. Behnam and observe him in surgery. Can you post some pictures of your donor?
  4. This is strange, perhaps some sort of nerve. Have you spoken to the clinic about this?
  5. I would NOT recommend strip. If you’re going to do this, I would look at the big 3 Zarev, Sethi, Pittella. These are the surgeons doing large cases with the biggest Norwood 6 portfolios. Keep in mind, this will not be a cheap endeavor.
  6. We don’t allow outside links. I think this doctor is obviously skilled. Brazilian doctors aren’t familiar with American forums, so just because you don’t see reviews doesn’t mean he’s bad. There’s quite a few Brazilian doctors that are impressive. Obviously, Pittella is the most known based on him joining the network. However, Dr. Tony Ruston is also very good. Dr. Carvalho is also good. Some names to look at as well.
  7. Oral finasteride is probably more effective, but also more likely to cause sides. Ive found using topical dut at least 5x per week has been effective.
  8. You need to get on finasteride and minoxidil. You can use the topical version of both, but that's something you should do before considering surgery.
  9. Eugenix has scaled up, there’s no question. However, the difference is that the surgeries are led by doctors, not technicians. That’s a big difference. Eugenix has several doctors that can be independently reviewed here on the forum. The same cannot be said about the other clinic. The reality is that eugenix is still one of most affordable places for high Norwoods. If you need a lot of grafts and you cannot afford the $5 that Pittella charges or €5 Zarev charges, that leaves you with Eugenix. Will you get the same level of individualized care from a larger clinic that has multiple doctors and multiple patients? No. But you shouldn’t expect that either. That means you need to educate yourself more and do your research. You can still achieve an amazing result, but you won’t get your hand held. Look at @general-etwan perfect example of achieving an amazing result for a fraction of the cost. But he directed his own care and was an integral part of the planning.
  10. I have never heard of this clinic. You should check out Dr. Camacho in Bogota.
  11. Are you on medication? You need to stabilize before surgery.
  12. Everything is looking great. I want to commend you on a great presentation.
