  1. Thanks for all the replies. I think I will try to set up an in person consultation with Dr. Konior.
  2. I'm not sure I would want to do a FUE. I'm not too keen on getting a buzz cut....or maybe i need to educate myself a little more.
  3. Hello everyone. I have been lurking here for a couple of years, and I am ready to take the plunge. I am 50 with Class Va baldness. Aside form having a successful procedure, my second priority is to have only ONE procedure if possible. A couple of years ago, after much research, I had decided on Dr. Rahal as he seemed to be highly skilled, produced outstanding results, and was able to perform "mega-sessions". As I have moved closer to proceeding I have re-explored this site and I have noticed that Dr. Konior also seems to have advanced and refined his technique to be able to accomplish a "one and done" treatment. I live in the Chicago area 30 minutes form Dr. Konior's office, so that is a big plus. However, I do not mind travelling if there would be a significant benefit in seeing Dr. Rahal. I know they are both highly regarded surgeons on this forum. Is Dr. Rahal significantly better with regard to technique and results that it would justify the added cost and inconvenience of travelling to Ottawa? Thanks for any input you can offer.
