  1. Hi, I've been thinking a lot lately about my hair which is surprising since I have been slowly losing it over the past 10 years. First, a little about me, I am 32 year old male that has a receding hairline. I have never taken any hair products or drugs, I just let it go naturally. I am married and have 2 kids. I work for an insurance company and am in a quasi sales job. I consider myself pretty confident but recently I have become obsessed with my receding hair. My first thought is to jump right to surgery and correct it. I got a consultation at DR Glat in Philadelphia by a tech. He told me that my donor area was a 4 out of 10 and that they can do a maximum of 1,300 graft of FUE which would fill my receding hairline. FUE is important to me because I wear my hair short and want to avoid a scar. I started doing some research (mainly on this site) and realized that having a tech do the procedure is a big red flag. After reading through this blog, I saw a lot of recommendations for DR Alan Feller in NY (which charges almost double the price of DR Glat based on his website). Before I start doing research and consults with doctors, do you think it is worth it to try Rogaine or Propecia first.? I am really confused Also, do you think I would be a good candidate for FUE? Thanks for your help, here are some pics of my head
