  1. Hi all, Just wanted to ask - what is the nature and the growth process of a transplanted hair like? Just hit the 2 month period and I noticed that there is a bed of thin translucent hairs all over the receipient area. Is this normal?
  2. Hi harishopeing, Sorry, if I didn't write clearly on the portion of aloe vera. Thanks for your input.
  3. Dear all, It has almost been 50 days since my FUE Surgery. Like with many of you, I have gone through the shedding phase and going through the much dreaded ugly ducking phase. The donor area as well as the sides of my head, are growing really well. To the extent that I require a weekly buzz cut to harmonise with the recepient area. I would like to ask you guys here, do you, or is it recommended to do the following, 1. Avoid exposing your head to the sun completely 2. Use sunblock 3. Use Aloe Vera gel (for Feriduni's patients) until the 6 month mark? Hope to get some feedback, here, I'm feeling very anxious and panicky as I just looking in the mirror everyday, wondering if I'm taking my hair well. Kind regards. James.
  4. I was advised by my doctor that I would shed, but at which period differs from each person's physiology. @ Johnny - did it the hairs just shed alongside with your hair wash? Curious - how do you wash your hair after the first month?
  5. Hello all, I have a burning question that I would like to ask patients who have gone down the FUE path; it is about shedding. Please find the attached picture - these are the hairs that are found after my usual hair wash routine (Lather, and massaging the shampoo on my scalp). Are these fallen hairs perfectly normal? How do you all perform your daily routine? Do you intentionally scrub your scalp so these hairs fall off? Thank you for your feedback. NB. Post first month surgery.
