  1. Thanks mate, I hope it all works out... For no apparent reason I just have this general anxiety about it all failing to grow. I have a question actually, might seem a bit weird, haha. I was told not to eat tooo hard food for the first few days, which I didn't- however I tend to grind my teeth and keep them clenched, bad habit. Will this effect the growth? Will keep updating on progress from time to time!
  2. Hi there! I recently had a hair transplant, 8 days ago! Entirely in the crown area. I'm in my late 20s and in good health. I was wondering if there is anything extra I can do to maximize graft survival beyond what I already know; -I sprayed my hair for the first 3 days every half an hour, even tried too wake up in the night to do it. (not always successful haha) -I've been on generic propecia 1mg for 11 months before HT and will continue it indefinitely. -Have relaxed/taken time off work for the past week and still have another 7days off. -I do not smoke, haven't drank and wont for a good while. -Slept with my head raised on 2 pillows -Began washing my hair extremely lightly with baby shampoo as instructed on the 4th day post op. -Will start Rogaine at 2 weeks post op. -Basically avoided touching the graft sight entirely except for washing. Is there anything I am missing? Any expert tips I should take into account? Just want to get the maximum growth!
  3. Hello, I have a question about Propecia, I have been on it for 7 months now. I hve not seen any hair regrowth but I /think/ it is slowing my hairloss. I was wondering, on Propecia should I still see hairs falling out in the shower or does it stop hair falling out completely? I ask because I shower/shampoo my hair every morning and on days I bother to try and count how many I lose I tend to find around between 10 to 15 maybe even 20 hairs through out the shower. Is this usual hair loss on Propecia? I don't lose much through the day if I run my fingers though my hair I tend to usually find none, but on the odd occasion one or two. I wasn't smart enough to do these counts before I began the drug for a control/baseline number of hairfall pre-propecia. Oh I have a second question too, The hairs that DO fall out are a mixture, some are long, thick and dark hairs that to me look healthy while others are thinner and more whisper. Are the thicker darker ones healthy hair more likely to grow back? Or does that have no baring on growth? Edit: I'm on the recommended dose and the only side effect I have had was no morning horn! Though recently it's been starting to reappear every couple of days... *insert amateur trumpet blowing here* Thanks in advance for anyone kind enough to answer my questions!
