  1. right before the procedure he had me sign something that said whether or not to dispose or just use the extra grafts... but for a cost. i thought it wouldn't be very much but it turned out t be a like $700 bill i think? i asked if this was normal and they said yes. i can't tell if its a little scam-ish though. i mean you pay for 2000, they just cut whatever they want off the back of your head and then charge you? but at the same time, i don't know how accurate FUT is... how hard is it to get exactly 2000 grafts out of a strip? they do seem pluggish, which bothers me... but they only seem that way in certain light like in the bathroom shining directly on my scalp. i don't think there is much i can do though, i mean i really have to wait 4 months right? whats a doctor going to do but tell me to wait? hmm
  2. i am almost exactly 8 months post op. i had something like 2000 grafts, maybe a little more since i ended up paying extra since i didn't want them to throw away the extras. anyway... it was prob around 2000-2500 grafts to my hairline and temple. i had FUT. my hair is TERRIBLY un-manageable. i have tried to search the internets but all i find is pictures of men with short hair or women with post op of over a year. maybe this is why people don't post picutres? so question... is this normal? will my texture me less kinky? less coarse? will a day come when i don't have to weigh the hairs down with gel? also, does my density look thin because its is thin, or because they are all standing straight up? like if they laid down, or when i style them laid down, it doesn't look as bad. bathroom lighting always make them look really bad. ill include a regular picture of how i usually end up any advice, information, help would be great! do you think ill need to get another procedure for better density? oh and Dr. Diep in Los Gatos did my transplant my left front in bathroom front in bedroom my right i usually use a headband which i think looks fine... with headband
