  5. How do u find slick gorilla clay... Thinking about using this once my hair grows out abit more post transplant.... Is it quite greasy and clumps your hair together? I have naturally fine hair anyway and am looking for something to add more texture and illusion of density... Is this what you are using it for?
  6. Nice one... Any visible difference in hair quality... Fuller appearing strands etc?

  8. You had me till you said tiktok... Jokes! Have you started using it yet or still waiting on a delivery? Also did you get the conditioner or any other gear. When are you scheduled for your procedure? Let us know how your hair feels after a wash mate... I've used some stuff before which just left my hair very dry and straw like! Currently 18 days post op and using Dove shampoo as advised by my doc
  9. Thanks mate... Does seem on the pricey side... But after dropping cash on those grafts, might be a good investment? I've not heard of this brand before though... Seems to be decent based on reviews... Be good to hear back from anyone on here if they've got experience with it.
  10. Hi All Has anyone tried this shampoo post transplant and do you have any feedback? Alternatively, does anyone have any opinion on OGX Biotin and Cologen shampoo Thanks!
  11. has anyone tried or moved on to taking 20 000mcg? is there any benefit or will it not make a difference? or can it be harmful/overdose. i'm currently taking 10 000mcg but am thinking about moving on to 2 a day permanently... ive had my fue a year ago and just wondering if this will make any difference. thanks!
  12. hi all, can anyone please recommend a good vit b complex to take... dont really wanna go down the holland and barrett route... thanks all
  13. Hi mate, good luck with the recovery this time around. hopefully it turns out better and the way you expect. were you awake this time or given the gas or whatever to knock you out??
  14. what does "full responsibility" actually mean? did they say what they think they did wrong the first time around and what they will be doing differently this time in order to achieve a better result?
  15. Hi Xkos48, what did they say... in terms of the result. did they say what they think may have gone wrong? also are they doing your second round at a reduced price??
  16. *tumbleweed* anyone.. anyone at all??
  17. hi guys... ive been using alpecin tuning shampoo and alpecin liquid once daily. i am about 5 months post op now... i should have maybe asked this earlier... is it ok to keep using this daily or is this maybe too harsh.. should i be using it less or maybe stop altogether? thanks!
  18. thanks david! been trying not think about it... but its obviously pretty hard not to.
  19. Hi Guys, I'm about 4 and a half months out from my surgery. I had 2612 grafts in the mid scalp and crown areas. I can see the mid scalp starting to fill up and is looking good (according to me). However, the crown region still looks abit sparse... Does the crown area take any longer in terms of growth / filling up?? Or is it likely to remain this way now? Thanks!!
  20. thanks for the replies guys. i have also checked with my doc and he said the same about it being good to go but thought i would get some advice from here too. my donor has healed well, no complications... also, i will be swimming in an indoor pool so sunlight wont be an issue... i've also had minimal redness in the donor area area and recipient areas anyway, Indian decent so fairly dark skinned so its not noticeable. i was more concerned about whether swimming in a pool would have any impact on the recipient area in terms of growth etc... but seems i'm good to go. thanks again!
  21. Hi All, I am coming up to 10 weeks post op. Was just wondering if anyone had any advice or thoughts regarding swimming in a swimming pool at this stage (10 weeks). Thanks in advance!
  22. Hi FUE2014... I had my HT just after FUEMAN.... mine was done 09 Feb 14 with Dr. Hakan. I dont have my own thread but have been following this one cause i've been going through pretty much the same as FUEMAN, recovery wise. Anyway, he drew the hairline etc.. then the techs shave you down and begin the extractions etc.. he was there for this as well as Dr. Ayan. When all the extractions are done... they knock you out with gas. He was in the room just before i passed out and was there when i woke up... When i had any correspondence with the clinic i was told the techs would do the extractions (which they did)... then i was told that he does the incisions and placement etc... will have to take their word for it... but as he was there when i got knocked out and when i came too... i'm gonna say he did it... plus they are very a professional outfit! he has a pretty solid rep on here and another forum as well... which i doubt he will want to ruin... well i hope not anyway!!
  23. cool... thanks mate! probably just a pimple or scab or something minor then... there wasn't much blood at all and was able to stop it with just a few dabs of a cotton-wool swab. still shedding loads though... a little heartbreaking seeing it all fall away!! hopefully they will be back soon!! hope you are progressing well!
