  1. You chose a great doctor. Someone I can attest to, twice. Month six will be mind-blowing.
  2. Absolutely great results! This is a perfect example of how much a difference the thickening post 6 months actually makes. Do you believe you need a 2nd HT for a touch up or anything? (I don't see any need to but curious what you think).
  3. That coverage at only 4 months is impressive. Month 6 is going to be awesome!
  4. You chose one of the best! I'll be following this one closely.
  5. Looking great only three months in. Can only get better from here!
  6. Everything looks right on track. As far as your temple areas, it is way too early after a surgery to make any determination. My own experience showed a rather strong forelock that took its sweet time growing back after the area around it was operated on. But it eventually did. Keep up with the updates, please!
  7. What a dramatic transformation! You look all of 23 years old in your latest update!
  8. Hello everyone! I wanted to share my experience so far with Dr. Scott Alexander and the 2000 grafts I received. In late 2012, I received about 1400 grafts from a Bosley clinic. It was only 3 months after the procedure that I had done my research. It was a spur of the moment decision, and one I regret because 10 months later and I can literally count the number of transplanted hairs. I contacted Dr. Alexander after doing my research. I was not really committed to doing another operation, I just wanted to know the numbers, mainly grafts and the price. The consultation itself was excellent, mainly because I spoke with the Doctor himself and not a "specialist". During this consultation, he showed me before and after pictures of his previous patients, drew out the desired hairline, offered me the number of grafts and the price along with financing information, and even offered to do the surgery 2 days later. Even after his excellent advice, I was still on the fence about another operation. Part of me was saying just accept it, due to the extra bill and going through another procedure. I also wear my hair swept forward, so it hid most of the receding hairline (even my ex-wife who hates my guts never said anything about my hair). Well, the Doctor himself called me and gave me the cold hard truth. Those Bosley hairs were not going away, and the only way to fix it was another transplant. Also, he said I would very likely get a procedure when I was tired of my receding hairline, so why not do it sooner rather than later? The day of surgery was a pleasant experience, thanks to the doctor and his team. There was no pain worth mentioning, as the medication took care of most of that. It took all day, but that is keeping with the Doctor's policy of only one patient a day. They provided lunch and even a movie while they performed the procedure. I was even fitted with a bandana when the operation was done. I have created a patient blog under the same name to document my progress. Many on this forum know about the Doctor and his work, specifically about his type of graft placement, but just the consultation and day of surgery leave me feeling very optimistic.
