  1. I have now canceled my hair restoration surgery with Dr. Feriduni in Belgium. My financial situation was never that good, and I had to resort to taking up a loan, which I now regret, hence I canceled it. I will try and grow my hair out, it should look decent enough. I'll post some pictures when it has gained some length.
  2. Yes. I'll try to get a job and start saving up some money. Also to give Dutasteride a fair chance at working, a year. I have put the "peaks" behind me, and now solely focus on correcting the front, because that is what is the most important thing. Thanks for the words. I will no longer foolhardily rush into these things. I think I've learned my lesson.
  3. I am contemplating not to have another hair transplant, this year at least. If I grow my hair out long enough, I can still get away with appearing to have a full (but thinning) head of hair. Also, my financial situation is a fickle girl. I am considering to switch up from Finasteride to Dutasteride. Any recommendations on where I can get a hold of this online? I don't want to use a toupee or hair fiber, or anything like that, but instead use some volumizer, to see if that will work at all. I know that I have enough quality body hair to fill even a Norwood 5-6 (possibly even 7) in. The best thing would be to mix the body hair with the scalp hair. Contacting Dr. Sunasi Umar perchance, somewhere down the road. I might actually postpone my next hair transplant repair for another 1-3 years, depending on how much hair I lose from now on and out. Hopefully my hair will look at least decent after growing it out to a certain length. This is going to be hard, but I don't want to make another mistake by exhausting my donor supply yet again, and only for a small region of my scalp. What do you guys think about this? Does it sound reasonable, or ought I get it fixed now?
  4. I decided to give Nizoral a go. It has been one month now. My hair looks thinner on top than ever, so I quit. Hopefully it will grow back/return to normal. Anyone else experienced this?
  5. I am pretty sure he and his team will be utilizing manual extraction technique. I will keep you all updated throughout my entire journey.
  6. Professionalism and positive reviews and recommendations. Also, because I did not feel too keen on going to Turkey for a hair transplant. I will be taking ferry and driving from Norway to Belgium, so that saves me the hassle and stress of the airport.
  7. Actually, the hair in my crown has gotten a bit denser, I think. Can't say for sure. But it certainly hasn't progressed for the worse, that much I can see. The original hairline has receded slightly. I actually had either miniaturization or diffuse thinning back then as well, and it looks about the same now as it did back then. Though, the only way I can know for sure, would be to grow my hair out, and compare. I have managed to keep my stress levels low. I try my best not to think too much about my situation, and keep my eyes on the road ahead. I think I'm doing a fine job of that. I am also much more knowledgeable now than ever, in my effort to attack my hairloss from every possible angle. Propecia, by the looks of things, (I have no side effects, and am considering adding either 0.5mg or 2.5mg of Dutasteride to my regimen) has managed to slow down the miniaturization and stopped the thinning of the crown and regrown some. I also just ordered Nizoral shampoo, and will be giving the much debated "RU58841" a shot, to see if it works or not for me. I see what you mean by martyr, heh. I have played to fool. But it is not a hopeless situation. I will hopefully be able to put this all behind me after my repair surgery with Dr. Feriduni in Hasselt in July this year. All I want it to normalize the hairline and make it appropriate for 10 or even 20 years down the road from now. I curse my stupidity and the mad doctor who butchered me. Who's your doctor? Crossing my fingers. All the best!
  8. I, earlier, wrote I wanted to do some work on my temples to add more hairs and make them more pronounced. I see there is no point in this now. It's not important.
  9. Rest assured. It was not him. My doctor was Dr. Prasert Seesillapachai at Yanhee International Hospital. I have read good things about Dr. Prasert. The best of luck to you! But please do not do anything foolhardy, like I did.

  11. I have now gone and created a more proper blog, where I will be (also on this forum) posting monthly updates, if not weekly)! https://fuehairtransplantrepairferidunihairclinic2015.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/my-upcoming-repair-hair-transplant-fue-at-dr-feridunis-hair-clinic-in-belgium-2015-13th-of-july/
  12. Yeah, who knows why. I for one will not. I will give a thorough write-up. It might be because Dr. Feriduni gives a discount to patients who creates a blog after surgery, then they may have just decided to ditch it. Weird, if you ask me. Why bother creating a blog at all then, if you're just going to leave it incomplete...
  13. Many thanks for the write-up. I too will be having (repair) surgery with Dr. Bijan Feriduni, july of next year. Can't wait to repair the god-awful work my last surgeon did! It's a crying shame...
  14. Got my pre-operative consultation on the 13th. of July, 2015, and my date of surgery on the 14th. of July, 2015. Spex has been a great help to me, as well as the staff at Feriduni's clinic. Helpful, amicable and professional. I might opt for a higher hairline and less fue's. They seem okay with this, but he needs to see me in person first, of course.
  15. Just got my much awaited reply from Dr. Feriduni. This is the gist of what he said: - 2400 to 2800 FUE grafts. - Extraction of grafts via FUE method on hairs wrongly implanted outside of temporal peaks. - Re-extraction of the badly angled grafts in my hairline and re-implantation. - Fill in the scar, but this I wish not to do, as I will be growing my hair out anyways, so there is no point in wasting grafts on that. I will keep on keeping you all updated. Dr. Feriduni will get to me soon, with the possible dates of surgery.
  16. I've ended up with either Dr. Kyriakos Maras, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Ferdiduni or Hasson & Wong (Dr. Jerry Wong). As of now, I am leaning towards Dr. Jerry Wong. I have taken Dr. Hakan Doganay off my list. Felt a bit uneasy about the whole thing. I might have another fut done. Thanks for helping me out, I appreciate it!
  17. One of Dr. Wong's representatives replied to my e-mail the other day, regarding my situation, my options. This is the gist of what he said: I have two options (but it will be decided on the final evaluation before the surgery): 1. "He feels that if the existing hairline in the front can be transplanted into without lifting the entire hairline out, that may be a good option." I'm told he could also possibly FUE out the hair in the corners/outside of the temporal peaks, and use them to build on the new hairline. 2. "If he feels it is not feasible to do this, he will take out the entire hairline with a possible fue of the corners that are unable to be excised with the removal of the hairline." (not sure if I'm allowed to copy and paste this, but my sole intention is to share it With you People and hear you out) I have included photos of my hair. It looks so ****in terible, it makes me want to yell out in frustration and cry my eyes out. I have also included another two photos of what I would like to achieve (the last two images), if at all possible. I've really done goofed, haven't I...
  18. Hello. I am considering having my second hair transplant at HDC clinc, with Dr. Kyriakos Maras. I have a few questions, and would be Grateful if you could be so kind and answer them for me. I can't afford to make another mistake - Dr. Maras speaks good English? . Does he design the hairline, punch the holes and implant himself? Is the staff english-speaking? - I am having repair from previous bad FUT surgery. My head looks like a doll's hair, just like straw. Is this the place to go, you think? I have searched the web, but can't say I've seen an abundance of posts from the clinic. Though they appear professional to me, especially through e-mail. - Did they pick you up at the airport and see to it that you got from destination to destination without a hitch? - Is there tax? How did you go about paying for the treatment? There aren't any hidden costs? They pay for the "hotel" and food? - Is there anything in particular I should be wary of? Many thanks! I appreciate it. By the way, how are you feeling now?
  19. I am now checking out HDC Hair Clinic in Cyprus. Anyone familiar with Dr. Kyriakos Maras? Any personal experiences? They seem very professional to me in their e-mails, and they are recommended as well. They recommended me a total of no more than 1500 grafts via FUE. I might need to extract about 1000 of the previously implanted grafts, in order to correct the bad angle of the hairs as well. I might also use neck/nape hair to rebuild temples and sideburns. Maybe some leg hair and some hair from my chest too. I am also awaiting reply from Hasson & Wong, Bernstein and a few more top hair transplant surgeons. Many thanks!
