  1. My opionon is to have the new strip in the same place so you are not dealing with two seperate scars. Also it depends on where your scar is located in the donor area if they go above or below. The dr will stay within the donor region. Yes the original scar can be improved. I recommend staples over sutures. Make sure your dr is skilled at closures.
  2. Hey readytodoit, thank you for your contribution to help other guys. I'm looking to go to Dr Lorenzo in march of next year. Did Dr Lorenzo mention anything about using beard hair? I'm getting low on donor scalp donor. Also, I plan on going with a short buzz cut, like a 1 guard. Do you think this is possible with Dr Lorenzo? I wish you the best! I think you made a great choice! Thanks again for your time.
  3. Hairguy350, Considering your previous expeirence with Umar, what made you feel confident to proceed with the Dr in Georgia? What have you learned from your experience? I hope you get to a place of peace regarding this.
  4. Hi Mickey85, My first surgery was by a Dr in Florida. (Is it ok to mention the name here?) Dr hasson was able to remove the bad scar and get grafts to thicken my hairline.
  5. I had a 2.5 hour revision with Dr Hasson on Monday. Joe if my case can help some guys please feel free to contact me so we can get some pictures on here. Dealing w a bad scar is hard on the psyche. I feel even worse when guys go thru a revision to only end up where they started or even worse w stretch back. Choosing a dr that will give you 100% is really important in a revision.
  6. Who is the best at grafting into a strip scar.
  7. Thanks irishsailor.. I've been looking for some beard/chest donor examples from him. What are your thoughts on this? I'd like to fill in my strip scar and possibly add some grafts in the crown with beard hair. I have a thick beard especially under my chin. I have seen some examples of him fixing strip scars.. Just not sure where the donor was taken.
  8. Sorry I missed this... I'm not sure of my Norwood level. I take avodart three times a week.
  9. Hi spanker.. I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures.. I might have to email a couple to you. To get to my graft count I'm going to need to use body hair. I haven't read dr Lorenzo's stance on body hair especially beard and chest.. Anyone seen bht results from Lorenzo?
  10. Thanks great job and Johnny drama.. I'll get some photos on here. It would be great do get more detail on graph count. I have seen patient cases also on a Spanish forum. There's many videos online but its a good point to see more patient cases here... I wonder why there's not.
  11. I am considering Dr Lorenzo for approximately 5,000 grafts plus approximately 500 grafts for a strip scar repair. I appreciate any advice.
