  1. Hey, I have recently just started using Nizoral 2% twice a week with Revita Corr conditioner. I have also started using Revita shampoo and Revita Corr every other day I don't use Nizoral. Does anyone know if using the two shampoos are safe and if there is any kind of research to back it up? I have found Nizoral to be a bit harsh and makes my scalp and hair dry but the Revita Corr conditioner stopped that..
  2. Thanks for the tip but I've decided to go with the brand name Propecia.
  3. Hey Future HT Doc, Sorry about that, my bad! Is it just links that are banned from the forum or is it name dropping all together?

  5. Hi, After a lot of research I think I've found the cheapest place to buy branded Merck Sharp & Dohme 1mg Propecia @ $1.54 USD per pill from a site called canadian drug stop. The problem is I'm not 100% sure if this site can be trusted. I did come across their site via a site called Pharmacy Checker but again I'm not sure if this can be 100% trusted either. Can anyone shed some light on this online pharmacy please? I just want to say before you get worried that I might just be diving in to the dangerous world of online drugs. I have contacted a physician and my local GP and they we're both more than happy for me to take Finasteride and I now have a prescription from my GP for Finasteride. The reason I want to buy online is I just don't want to pay AUD prices for branded Propecia ($84 AUD x 28 pills or $495 AUD x 168 pills) or take a generic brand. In other words I want it all for nothing hahaha!!!! Cheers.
  6. Hi guys, I was wondering if there is an up to date list of the best FUE surgeons in the world on here?
  7. Nice link mate cheers. I'm thinking of maybe taking 0.5mg everyday but I'll see what the docs say first and see how I feel. Eagle.
  8. Thanks mate. I will definitely get the base line tests done before taking the drugs for sure. I will also post my progress and pics when this all rolls into action. I know that you could be torn between having side effects and keeping your hair, but in the long run I think my health is first and foremost and I would try something else if the side effects were a problem for me. I did read there was another drug out there that brought down DHT levels but it wasn't as efficient as PRO/FIN. It was called KERATENE® alphactive Retard. It sounds like a plan B for me but am sure if you tested this drug over a million males with MPB you would find some with side effects to! Catch 22 I suppose... It would be really unfair to get side from both of these Hopefully things will go smoothly the first time round Eagle
  9. Hey Z, I would like to start and say thanks for taking the time to write such an informative article. It really helps newcomers like me in finding the right path for what I should consider next. I'm very new in regards to finding the solution to my own MPB but I've been researching a lot since I've started and I've came across a lot people commenting on problems with Propecia which to be frank scares the s*** out of me. This hasn't stopped me from buying it and I'm more than willing to give it a go but I would like some reassurances from some regular hormone tests whilst taking the drug in the early stages. I'm just not sure where to go to get them done? Can I just drop into my local GP? Cheers Cheers
  10. Thanks guys. I was always going to visit a doctor to put my mind at ease as I've been a little worried about Propecia in the past. I'm now willing to chance the possible side effects of Propecia (with or without a doctors approval) to get my hair healthier. I've booked an appointment on Monday to see my local GP and I've also been in contact via email with local naturopathic nutritionist about saliva testing to see if there are any unwanted changes in my hormones whilst taking Propecia. They seem very expensive tho and I hope my GP will be willing to test me at a lower cost than the naturopathic nutritionist. I will be sure to upload pics before taking Propecia and pics of my progress in the future.
  11. Hi everyone, This is my first blog and I'm only a few days old to the site. I know my profile is poor but I will set it up when I get a spare 5 mins from researching the site. Here is some of my little queries I need help with! I have decided to to buy the following products and they should arrive in the next few days (The big 3). Rogaine 5% solution (1ml twice a day) Nizoral 2% (once every 3 days) Propecia 1mg tablets I managed to gain the propecia off the net without a doctors slip. The problem is I don't know how many I should take and does the intake change over time? and will a normal GP know anything about how much I should take in relation to hair loss? Is there any advantages/disadvantages between between Rogaines solution and foam products? Also what shampoo, conditioner and hair serum is good to use on the days off from Nizoral 2%? I work mostly on construction sites so my scalp gets dirty and needs a good clean every night. I've looked into Nioxin system 2 but I'm not sure after seeing some of the reviews on other sites. I also was advised by their help desk not to use the serum whilst using Regaine. Any help would be much appreciated guys!!
