  1. So what you're saying is that because you have not grown out your hair you're not sure if you are satisfied and have not properly evaluated the result of the first surgery yet you are going back for a second?
  2. I just passed my 7 month mark. At this point I can say I'm very pleased. Those that know are impressed and others just know I look better or think I look different. I do change it up and went from shaved head no beard to grown out hair with grown out beard so I think that all helped camoflauge things and keep them guessing so to speak. I'll post some pics shortly when by my computer. At 12 month I think I'll be out of the park.
  3. You will have swelling around the eyes for up to a week. Just depends on the person coupled with amount of trauma to the tissue. If you take prednisone post op it will aid the swelling. I chose not to and flew home (from Canada) with noticeable swelling.
  4. She didn't claim to be those guys. Only that they do turn out some amazing fue results. But I do agree with you, those guys are top notch and it's important to find an fue only clinic especially for a second go around.
  5. PS. Rahal rep advised me my density is from 50-54 g/cm2. I know some had asked about this. You can see the quality of my hair in my clinic pre ops...
  6. Hi, guys another pic. I'm at 3.5 months right now and from certain angles you can already see a re established hairline. I'm keeping my head buzzed and the shorter it is the more even it looks. I'm buzzed at a one right now. There's a small point where the ht meets the native hair on my left side that I feel ends a little abruptly maybe rahal will touch that up for me if it doesn't come through.
  7. I'm not sure it wouldn't? I mean, I don't know anything about it, but organ transplants work.
  8. Don't be afraid. Remember it's all about the result in the end not the temporary discomfort. Shaving your head will give the doc the best view of his working area.
  9. It's likely not the fin. The lettuce is the culprit. Stop using that for two weeks and I'm willing to bet the headaches go away.
  10. You should consider low level laser therapy. Both visible red and infra red to effectively treat the SD. I have had great success with it.
  11. Only from rogaine. How long did you stop using the rogaine? It is a blood pressure med and if you use to much can cause headaches. It can also take some time to clear your system so it depends how long you've been off it for?
  12. did you contact the clinic that performed your procedure? what have they said?
  13. I wouldn't limit yourself to an area if your ultimate goal is to find the most capable surgeon for both of you. A NW6 requires an experienced and skilled surgeon. This site has a list of coalition members although I would strongly suggest that you scrutinize even those recommended doctors as they are not created equal.
  14. If the grafts are punched and severed from surrounding tissue and blood supply I'm not sure how effective leaving them in place would be. Unless he scores them and leaves the bottom portion in tact but it's unclear to me at this point how exactly he does this..
  15. Avodart is a type 1 and type 2 5AR inhibitor propecia only type 1. Using both will block more of type 1 yes but the added be edit for some may be in the addition of type 2 blockage. The increased effectiveness is not necessarily because of more blockage of type 1 but may be due to additional blockage of type 2...
  16. I'd try low level laser therapy. Also, ask your doc about using hydrocortisone cream.
  17. Only 6 months of propecia... I don't think you can conclusively say it was the avodart. Maybe propecia started to work better after the 6 month period and there was no need for avodart. At this point, the propecia is redundant, though. Ther are not 'booster' meds they are enzyme inhibitors...
  18. How old are you? What's the family history?
  19. I'm pretty sure **** trained bisanga and mwamba but I could be wrong. As far as having your back, yes that'd be nice however so far it seems that Erdogan has high ethics and is set on putting out amazing results. I'd find it hard to believe that he would abandon a patient with a less than great outcome.
  20. It seems many of the Turkish docs get some amazing early growth. I'm becoming a big fan of the FUE work out of there.
