  1. He may have needed more than one procedure, but his pictures clearly show that his hair looked WORSE after his transplant. And his revision surgery made use of LESS available grafts (because he had many failed grafts) and achieved MORE than the initial procedure. Seems like he did reach out considering he was told his results looked like the "best" that was ever seen by the receptionist. Hmmmmm.
  2. Rahal consistently produces the best hairlines. My friend had his done with Rahal. He was at least a Norwood 4 and Rahal completely rebuilt his hairline, and it looks incredible even when I literally look at it from 5 inches away.
  3. I wouldn't say Minoxidil stops hair loss as long as you take it. It certainly slows the progression down and keeps the hairs in Anagen (growing) phase longer. But it does not stop hair loss indefinitely. Eventually your genetics will overcome the effects of Minoxidil. That said, there are people who are great responders.
  4. Dr. Konior in Chicago has talked about doing exactly this before for select patients. His website has a section specifically about this the last time I looked. https://www.chicagohairinstitute.com/surgical-hair-loss-solutions/hair-system-and-hairline-surgery If anyone can do it, it's him. If you are looking to do this, I think you really have to convince him that you are serious because obviously it's irreversible.
  5. I accompanied my friend a few years ago for his transplant with Rahal. I was there for moral support and to help him recover. Everything is top notch and my friend's results were exceptional. He had an FUT procedure, and came out with literally a pencil line thin scar. If I could do it over again I would have gone with Rahal no question, and done it all in one shot. I had an FUE with another well known doctor on here, but I did a very conservative session.
  6. I'm not gonna mince words. This is a troll post.
  7. Can you share the current state of your hair after your revision?
  8. Have you actually had real blookwork done? Are your hormones actually deficient?
  9. I've noticed that at the bottom of a lot of these anti-propecia websites is a link to an attorney's office. What's the chance that many of these websites are set up by these very same law firms?
  10. Bruh, I think you need to take a breath. Lots of people use "bald" to refer to a short buzz cut.
  11. One piece of advise that I've gleaned over the years... NEVER have any kind of cosmetic surgery in the UK, EVER. I have never seen a good transplant come out of the UK. As for the recommendation of 1800 grafts, that is completely off.
  12. Many people are turned away because their cases are too far gone and no amount of transplants would make an aesthetic impact. I see this as the responsible thing to do. Further, more people are turned away because they exhibit the personality traits of someone with BDD. Those kinds of people should never have surgery because of psychological issues. As for myths, the one about masturbation causing or exacerbating hair loss NEEDS to die.
  13. Several things I got from that piece. The guy was COINCIDENTALLY a lawyer. Second, the website seems like nothing more than a portal that points towards...wait for it.... a law firm to "help with your case". Huh....interesting. I don't doubt that there are men who do have side effects. But it also seems like a lot of people are trying to jump on the gravy train.
