  1. Not sure if we took it from the nape but I remember Dr said that we had to go far below to get the good grafts and he also mentioned that those were strong hairs and not the downy ones. Dr Bhatti should be able to comment on this more.
  2. Dr Bhatti, Thankyou very much for the support. I will try to come to your clinic. I took propecia for near about 15 months and stopped the same due to sides.
  3. Hello All, First thing first , I apologise for using harsh words. It was one of those days when I looked myself in the mirror and said gosh, what have I done to myself ? money went down the drain, donor hair gone too. Now, personally, I have great regards for Dr Bhatti, he is a man with a good heart. My frustration is only with my HT results. I never expected a full head of hair, I am/was fully aware of my limitations and Dr Bhatti counseled me well in that regard. What I am frustrated about is - on the right half of my scalp, there were good amounts of grafts transplanted in the first procedure. please see first HT pics, you can see transplanted grafts all over the head. however, for some reasons, grafts on the right side did not grow anywhere compared to those on the left side and I was left with a nearly bald right scalp after 11 months. I discussed this with Dr and we decided to have second procedure targeting only the right scalp this time. Now, one year has passed after my second procedure and I see nil to marginal improvements over my first HT results. My frustration is built around the basis that I lost my precious donor hair to gain something that didn't happen. If the grafts are transplanted twice at the same place why on the earth would they not grow ? Were those grafts transected in the procedure, the grafts were not DHT resistant and they are gone or may be something else.
  4. 11 months have passed by and I have not seen an iota of improvement from my first transplant. This means that my head was butchered, I was ripped off and my donor density was made bankrupt for nothing. I can't believe such a result from a doctor who is recommended on this forum. I paid twice for the same area and got nothing in return. Moreover lost more donor grafts. This is completely unacceptable standard to say the least. There must have been something terribly wrong with the way my surgery was performed. I am so disheartened. I am at much worse state than if I never had a hairtransplant. Keep aside the 6000 $ that I have already paid for this pathetic result with 4500 grafts.
  5. I don't know what to say. Results have been disheartening to say the least.I am waiting for full year cycle to click some more pictures anpost it here to seek advice.
  6. Dear All, I am now 10 months Post Op. No Visible improvements over the last pictures I posted above. I believe I am done with all the growth I could have had. ~eternalDenied.
  7. mikeey, I think my second procedure with Dr Bhatti has also failed however I would wait 9 months as per Dr recommendation to pass any judgement. I am already in 8th month and I believe you have seen my update in other post. I would be glad if some miracle growth happens in next month.
  8. Brain Fog. - I use to think I am just tired until I came to know that it could be propecia. Lower Back Pain. - I use to think its general pain but now I know that osteoporosis is another side effect of propecia. Difficulty focusing/concentration - I use to think I am just tired but now I know it could be propecia. Loss or Morning Erections - Didn't bother much about it until I came to know about PFS and that propecia could lead to permanent erectile dysfunction Loss of Spontaneous Erections. Hard to maintain erection. Testicular pain - This I did notice But I chose to ignore. Now you can say that its all in my head
  9. Mikeey, Nope. If I had known beforehand that this is gonna be result after my HT, I would have never gone ahead at the first place and never ever for the second correction procedure. I can't really think of any future corrections as my donor site would be depleted by now. Secondly, I don't have the courage to go for any further procedure after 2 attempts. I should have researched better, may be I should have gone for FUT. May be I am unfortunate. Happy New Year to you too. ~eternalDenied
  10. Cryingoutloud, Thanks for your support bro. Mikeey, No need to apologise. I am not hurt by your comments. Your candid feedback is appreciated.
  11. KO and David, Thanks much for your response. I have stopped Finasteride from past 1 week. After reading through all the permanent side effects that it could potentially cause, I realized that I was having few of those side effects but I could not notice them. Moreover I consulted my HT Dr who prescribed me Finasteride at the first place. He said that he never suggested to take Finasteride longer than 6 months. I am not confident to continue with this drug without any medical supervision. Hence the decision. I have got back on Rogaine 5% alternate days. I am aware that without Finasteride, Rogaine would not do much of anything;however, I am happy to loose more hair to save my stuff down there.
  12. Guys, I have been on generic Finasteride 1mg every alternate days since July 2013. I am 31 and reading through horrendous Side Effects on propeciaeffects.com, I ask this question. I read a study somewhere that even 0.2 mg of Finasteride can reduce the Serum DHT to same level as 1 mg does. I don't know if we get 0.2 mg Finasteride out there and if its possible to cut 1mg finasteride in 5 pieces. 1 mg pill itself is so small. Questions. 1. Is the Study true ? 2. Which would be more effective - taking 1 mg Finasteride once in 5 days OR taking 0.2 mg every day ? 3. Which would do more damage to the System in terms of side effects - taking 1 mg Finasteride once in 5 days OR taking 0.2 mg every day ? propeciasideffects.com has scared the shit out of me.
  13. Guys, Here is the long due update. I did not feel like posting any pictures because I could not see any cosmetic improvement from where I started. 1st Pic is 1 month before the 2nd procedure (8th May 2014). 2nd and 3rd Pic is 3 days after the 2nd Procedure(8th May 2014). 4th, 5th and 6th Pic is 7 Months after the 2nd Procedure(8th May 2014). My observations - It seems Density overall has deteriorated. I do see few thick transplanted hair falling now and then. The patch on the left side(Pic 5) seems to be shock loss. Your candid feedback/comments is appreciated. Treatment Regime 1. Finasteride 1 mg every alternate day. Since July 2013. 2. Rogaine 5% every day since Oct 2013. Took 3 months break Sep 2014 - Nov 2014 due to sides- headache, fatigue, low BP. Started again from 1st Dec 2014.
  14. David, thanks for stepping in. I have not been able to conclude in favour of rogaine possibly because I have read a lot against rogaine than in favour. what is your opinion about this clinical study? Update Rogaine and Hairloss it says that rogaine shedding is disproportionate to any amount of growth that you may have experienced.
  15. Thanks. Densedream., So what you are saying is even If I get back on Rogaine and continue with same religiously it's not guaranteed that my hair condition would be stable. Is there no shedding pattern?. I thought we shed only when we start / quit but from your experience, this looks even more dangerous.
  16. No Mikeey, I did not ask for compensation. I came here to seek advice, and support. I am patiently waiting to see my 9th Month results as Dr suggested. I am in 7th month and I don't see any visible gain from where I started before HT. I will be posting pictures on 8th Dec.
  17. I see your point but there are many out there for whom Rogaine has done more harm than good. I would not be surprised to know that a good number of people continue rogaine only because of the fear of going worse than being satisfied with the product. it would be good to hear from those who started rogaine after a break and whether it worked. Anyone?
  18. So, its been 4 months since I stopped Rogaine. I have been loosing 50 strands from past 1 month. Would you guys recommend to get back on it or forget it forever for good. any experienced member out here who can share his experience of getting back on Rogaine after a break of >3 months. would I experience more shedding if I get back on Rogaine? Personally , I would want to say goodbye to rogaine forever than experience a shedding every 6 months cycle. Provided I get my baseline back.
  19. KO, I stopped rogaine because of the fear of being dependent on rogaine forever. I have had a horrible experience with Rogaine in past. it made me bald 5 years faster. When I used rogaine first time back in 2008. I used it religiously every night for 1 year. I stopped it after one year because I didn't see any cosmetic gain and when I stopped I had the mother of all shed and I went from NW 2 to NW 5 in few months. coming from this experience, I have always been skeptical of rogaine. I used rogaine after my HT because predominantly all doctors recommend it post HT.
  20. Long story short. No visible Improvements so far. I am now at 7 months mark. Well, I am waiting patiently and that's not my concern for now. Lately, I have been loosing quite some hair. Whenever, I massage with hair Oil at night, I can see 50 hair strands coming out. Could this be a seasonal shedding? New hair popping out? or a cause of worry ? I have been religiously taking finasteride 1mg every day with fortunately no side effects yet. However, I did stop Rogaine some 3 months before. I was too scared to continue with Rogaine and make my hair dependent on Rogaine forever. Could this loss be due to stopping Rogaine ? Any suggestions/tips to really really save whatever I have on my head.
  21. Now, speaking of expectations, a lot has been said about my unrealistic expectations; I would like to evaluate the same for the sake of my understanding. Hope you guys will cooperate. Let's do some comparison. Again, to be fair to Dr Bhatti we will take following artifacts for analysis 1. eternalDenied's Pre Surgery pics posted by Dr Bhatti himself. The area between those black pencil marks is the recipient. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/attachment.php?attachmentid=67280&d=1411713724 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/attachment.php?attachmentid=67281&d=1411713746 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/attachment.php?attachmentid=67282&d=1411713768 2. eternalDenied's situation after 2 FUE procedures ( approx 4800 grafts in total, approx 1000 beard grafts). Bear in mind that second surgery is not mature yet. Its been 5 months since 2nd Session. Current scenario is more or less similar to one depicted in below link. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/174786-10-months-update-dr-bhatti-3180-grafts-jun-2013-a.html 3. Johnny24 Pre Surgery and Post Surgery Pics, None other but one of Dr Bhatti's Patient http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167897-hair-transplant-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds-chandigarh-india.html I picked Johnny24 for analysis because he is my favourite patient of Dr Bhatti. His pre surgery pics( with respect to balding area), his head shape and balding pattern were similar to mine. The only variable between mine and Johnny24's case is the Donor area. Few of you would argue that his donor area was stronger than mine. I accept that and in my defense I would say that 1. I have got 4800 grafts intotal(compared to Johny24's 4000 grafts). Thats 800 grafts more. 2. I have got approx 1000 beard grafts( compared to Johny 24's none). Beard grafts are supposed to be thicker and denser than scalp grafts. So, all in all, I believe, mine and Johny24's case can be compared. Now, if you compare the post surgery results of my case with that of Johnny24's , you will find a day and night difference. why is that ? I expect to have my results similar to Johny24's, if not 100%, then at least 60-70% ? Is that a unrealistic expectation ? ~eternalDenied
  22. Hi All, Thank you very much for your support and feedback. Those after Pics that Dr Bhatti has posted, those are actually impressive. Even, I could not recognize myself at the first glance because that's not how I look. I am not sure what is there with those pics, most probably the angle in which hair has been combed, the lighting, and the way pic has been taken , the bald area is just not visible. However, trust me guys, that's not how I look at the moment, if you have a top view of my scalp. I have got an almost bald right scalp. Any one can meet me in person to verify this. @Dr Bhatti, I would like to assure you that I am not at all expecting a subsidized procedure and I did not intend to arm twist the thread on HRN. I have nothing against you. To be fair to Dr Bhatti, yes, he did suggest me to grow my hair longer and comb from left to right because that will give me better look. I do not follow his suggestion because I have got this almost bald right scalp and when I comb my hair from left to right, I feel as if I am trying to hide my baldness. I would rather shave my head than try to do a combover technique. Since, I was uncomfortable with combover style, I decided to have a second procedure with Dr Bhatti. ~eternalDenied
  23. I will just put forward a few points and then I will shut up because I dont want to indulge in a blame game 1. Yes, I was eager to get a HT and yes I was counseled but No, I was not told that my results could be as poor as this. 2. Yes, I did not do thorough research. Blame it on me. I take it hands down. 3. The picture darling buds has posted which you are very impressed with denesdrem is not telling the true story because my hair in that picture is combed in a way to hide baldness. Its the right scalp that is bald . If you comb it from left to right to hide the baldness, that does not make it wow. What more, there's toppik sprayed over. Comeon Dr Bhatti, I still respect you. Why are you ruining it? 5. Screen name of patients that had to do multiple visits to darling buds. Shane13 HTfue
  24. Ah so denesdrem is a representative of Dr bhatti.?? You did sound biased in your opinion but I could not say for sure.
  25. Also Denesdream, I know 3 people on this forum who had to (planning to) go for second session with Bhatti because they were not happy with the first session of Dr Bhatti. And then I know one person outside this forum. Now its very much possible that all 4 of us were a poor candidate for HT but that's a high coincidence . Dont you think so ?
