  1. hey all just a few pics as an update for 7 month mark. Overall pretty happy, would of liked a little more dense in the temples but i suppose thats my fault for being more expectact even though i was told at the start i was never going to get my early 20's hairline back!! any FB appreciated.
  2. hey Logan where i live, the time difference etc it makes it difficult to call India. I'm glad i had my procedure with Dr Radha and would highly recommend anyone to her. If and when i need more i will be going back, i'll just not spend a week there after surgery this time, I see Dr Radha comes on this site and checks in and i appreciate the hours she works and the lack of free time she probably has. I have emailed her again last week as per instructions she gave me on a post in this thread and as of yet have still not heard back. I am now 7 months post op.
  3. hey Dr Radha i have sent you an email. hope to hear from you soon and good to see you checking up on us on the forums!!
  4. hey Steini did you ever get photos sent to you? i would of loved mine to upload and see the before and after results.
  5. Thanks I'll bear that in mind. I'll try out the proscar cut into 4 see how I go and if any sides switch to propecia and try that Thanks all
  6. hi HTguy had mine done about 6 months ago now with Dr Radha. initial contact was slowish. took a week to return my initial mail. after that things were fine. My only slight disappointment was after the procedure i mailed asking a few questions and requested some of the photos that were taken on the day and i never heard back, i tried a few times and gave up in the end. Left a slight sour taste but not enough to put me off having future procedures with her,
  7. Torip, the site you recommended requires prescription, do you know of sites that don't require a script?
  8. Thanks guys will check them sites out. Matt...are you having any side effects chopping into 4 as opposed to 5?
  9. Yeah I reckon I'll get a pill cutter for that. I don't fancy my chances of cutting it evenly into 5
  10. ok that makes me feel a little better about buying generic, i'm based in Australia so walmart isn't an option for me (i wish it was!!) i'm also a little hesitant to purchase from the Indian pharmancy websites and was hoping someone could tell me of generic brands that have worked for them and from where. i know everyone's different and react differently to each brand
  11. hi guys was hoping people could share where they purchase their Proscar 5mg from. i am looking for genuine Proscar and not generic. i know they say as long as it contains the the correct amount of finasteride generic will be ok but i'd rather pay the little bit extra and get the genuine stuff. Any place that sells genuine with no prescription? thanks
  12. i've read a few posts about chopping 5mg Proscar into 5 to get your 1mg Fin dosage to save money. Is is proven that the active ingredient is mixed with the fillers evenly, so that 5 cuts=1mg of fin in each cut..hope you know what i mean.. thanks
  13. well roughly 2 months...minus a week. just an update, seems i'm starting to get some growth, seems a combination of the implanted hairs that never really shed are growing and am getting the odd pimple/spot on my head which i believe could be hairs coming through, i still have slight redness in the donor area and the head numbness is getting less and less...slowly. i still feel very tender all over my head, not just the donor area but parts of my head that was not touched during proedure, slight knocks and bangs seem to hurt more than it would prior to the procedure. I also seem to have lost contact with my doctor who did the procedure which is slighly dissapoionting, no return emails etc. i have only asked a few questions regarding aftercare etc and a copy of the photos that were taken during the surgery and gettng no response whatsoever...was so friendly and responsive pre and during surgery but afterwards theres nothing...pretty unhappy about that. Anyway attached updated pics. you can see at the front centre there is a patch that is growing a lot quicker as that area was shaved back prior to surgery,. sorry quality not the best but using front facing camera on iphone Any feedback comments all appreciated.
  14. sounds exactly the experience i had, she is very professional and could not of asked for a better experience. if anyone is thinking about travelling for HRT (i am originally from UK now based in Australia) i couldn't speak more highly not just about Dr Radha but also her staff. Yes air fares and hotels add to the cost but still cheaper than anywhere in Aus and the Aus ones i found very hard sell which was very off putting. +1 for Dr Radha and if i need more work doing again i'll be straight back there.
