  1. I am extremely happy to hear that, If you didn't suffer any shedding from your donor by now, I am pretty sure you be 100% fine. 🤗🙏🙏🙏
  2. Unfortunately he is right. I do wish you success and hope it will turn out great for you! However, you and me are sharing the same situation. We are the same age, I started to lose my hair when I was 15-16 as well, by 23 Norwood six. Started to wear hair piece when I was 21 (no one knew I ever got bald because I used Toppik while I was losing my hair and transfered to Hair piece when Toppik couldn't work anymore). At age 25 I went under HT (FUT), 2k grafts to transplant my hairline and place the hair piece behind it. At age 26 I went under FUE (1k grafts) to transplant the scar + 800 grafts to fill temples and lower the hairline by 3/4 inch. Everything grew perfectly, I would say I had 95%+ growth. I went to one of the best doctors in US, however... About a year after my first HT I started to shed some transplanted hairs, I did notice it gets thinner and thinner. 3 years later (Today), I lost about 30% if not more. Just to clarify, the hairline was SUPER dense and gradually decreased the destiny. Honestly? I wasn't shocked, I knew it would happen but I was like, if 30% will remain I may still be able to work with it. However as it seems now, I don't think 30% will remain in two years from now. The reason I knew I may lose some of it (I never knew I would lose so much and so soon), is because I am shedding from my donor. When the hairloss is aggressive and especially for young people as us the donor takes an effect as well sometimes. Now I am in a stage where : My "hair" looks great, impossible to know I have hair piece and I have brushed back hairstyle, However I am concerned about the future, How far my hairloss will continue in my back and sides, what if it will become so thin that even hair piece won't be an option? Looking at my uncles/father/grandfather's, we are ALL Norwood 6, all of them have hair on sides and back but it's definitely thin compared to the average person. Look at your relatives, it may give you an idea how your donor will be at theirs age. The fact your taking propecia may help you as well, for me it just didn't work even when I took it 4 years straight, always shedded the same amount of hairs. Something weird that I experienced though, after FUE (The second producer), my shedding has stopped for 3 months straight. Something that never happened to me for many years, my entire scalp felt better and not oily etc. I think due to the blood circulation (taking out the grafts and the numbing) actually "Cured" me for couple of months. I tried to pull hairs out, it was impossible, If I go to my donor now and try to pull gently, at least two hairs will go out. Anyway, I wish you lots of success and will definitely follow this thread. Your beard looks good as well and I believe you have additional 1k+ to take from there.
  3. Hi guys, Stupid question, I know but just curious. What machine/tool does hair restoration Doctors are using the measure the hair thickness? Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the reply! I am still very young and in completely different story, I was just curious if there's an age where the hairloss may stop by itself at some age, let's say 40 or at least slow down (Speaking on those who started to lose theirs hair at an early age and haven't progressed to Norwood 7 by 35 for example.
  5. Hi guys, As far as I understand, MPB is related to testosterone which transfered into DHT. My question is, when your 40 your testosterone decrease compared when your 20s, so how come people with no hairloss can starts shedding when they are 35-45?
  6. Nice! Definitely going to watch this thread. Wishing you best of luck! Do you know how many grafts were implanted into each of your temple points?
  7. I can't wait to see these results... You deserve the best and I am sure the outcome will be amazing and give tons of hope to others with similar cases.
  8. My legs hair about 2 inch length, I am looking to fill the donor with these hairs so I won't keep them longer than 0.25 inch. My legs are are pretty thick and extremely dark. When I was a child I hated to go with a short because of that 😂 Now at least I hope it will have some use haha
  9. I actually sent you a message on Whatsapp about 8 months ago, you mentioned legs are not an option, just chest and beard. I am actually extrem happy to hear that. Will PM asap.
  10. Thing is, my legs hair are EXTREMELY thick. I also have tons of doubles leg grafts. I am looking to fill between (And also re build the template which is the only place that is virgin scalp). I am just curious if anyone transplanted legs/arms hair and it actually grew and 2) Which doctor did it before besides Umar.
  11. Hi guys, I am curious if there is a single thread here of someone who used theirs legs as a source for filling up the donor. 2) Does anyone know a Doctor who has experience with legs hair besides Umar? Thanks!
  12. Hello, Okay this is a little stupid question but I am really curious how it works, Let's say with FUT producer the doctor will take 2,500 grafts from my back, the width of the strip will be 1.5 CM. I come back two years later for another fut, then he will take additional 2k grafts, and the width would be 1 CM. I just took about 2.5 CM width of my head, how come the nape won't start higher (after attaching back the skin), I do know obviously that it doesn't go higher, or make your head look like you pulled both sides to attach it back but my question is why? If you just took almost 3 cm width of the back of your head, how does the skin and everything looks exactly the same with super thin scar? Thanks!
