  1. Ok.. Anyone who had shock loss just after the surgery?
  2. Yes I understand that shock loss may or may not occur. My question was different. If it does occur then when does it occur? Can it occur just after the surgery or does it occur after 2-3 weeks?
  3. Hi, Wanted to know when can shock loss occur. Can it occur just after the surgery or will it happen after a few weeks? I had a transplant 8 days back and can hardly see any old hair coming out. The doctor had shaved my recipient area. Thanks Ak
  4. Hello, I wanted to know if the insertion of grafts can be done by the assistants. The doctor will prepare the recipient site and make the recipient holes, but the insertion would be done by his assistants. What is generally done by good doctors? Thanks Ak
  5. So the shockloss has nothing related to FUE or FUT right? As the difference between these two are taking grafts from donor area, not insertion of grafts? What is the chances of shockloss in my case, where I have existing hairs left and transplanted hair have to be inserted in between. I saw your personal post. You showed FUE caused thinning of donor. What how many grafts taken from it. Also what about body hair as donor? What is the catch in that? Only because it may look unnatural? Or the head may reject the body hair?
  6. Thanks a lot guys for the reply!!
  7. Yes you are correct. Few weeks is too less a time. I am travelling back to India and will be consulting doctors in the next few weeks. I did take medicines. It worked a little but when I stopped taking the new hair just fell off. So HT is the only option left. My main concern is that I do not want to loose existing hairs due to the transplant. Hair loss does not seem to be hereditary in my case. Loss was mainly due to high stress. So the existing hair should stay in place if I dont get a HT. Some of my hair pics attached. Plz advise about FUE. Do the transplanted hair look natural?
  8. Can you please tell about doctors in Bangalore. Both these doctors are outside of Bangalore.
  9. Hello, As the forum members seem to posses quite good knowledge about HT. I wanted to clarify few points from you all, instead of believing the tall claims given by hair clinics. I have very less density in my front and mid region. But I am not bald in any place. My donor region is very good, confirmed by one of the doctor. He told I have some 15k donor 'grafts'(I guess) Want to go for a HT in the next few weeks. 1) FUT seems a more major surgery and want to avoid it. What about FUE? My main question is will I loose any of my existing hair due to the transplant. I understand that I may loose my normal hair in the natural aging process, but I am really concerned about any existing hair loss due to the transplant. One of my friend lost his natural hair 2 yrs after the transplant. Can it be related? I do not want to use any medicine after the transplant. 2) Will the transplanted hair look natural after FUE? Are the scar marks very prominent? Can someone feel it by placing their hands over them. 3) What is the maximum num of hairs which can be transplanted in 1 session? Thanks!
