There's one which says Finasteride is not required for optimal growth of Transplanted Hair. And one which believes Without Finasteride the growth of transplanted hair is very ordinary. It does not grow to its full potential without Finasteride !!

Hi Guys, Just wanted to have an opinion here, and maybe ask for the Info and knowledge you guys (Guys who have undergone Hair Transplant) would have acquired from your respective surgeons, on if Finasteride is required to keep/maintain for your Transplanted Hair aswell ? Or is it only more for the Already existing Native Hair ? Because a lot of Dr prescribe Finasteride even after a HT so there are two different lobbies on this. But what is the general opinion ?

And is stopping of Type 1 and Type 2 good enough for preventing Hair Loss ?

So does that mean taking Finasteride may help you save your hair but may eventually take you to your grave ??

But wasn't Finasteride a Prevention Drug in inhibiting Prostate Cancer so how can it lead to it. This is Mind Boggling !!

Sir, If I may suggest you so...You have a Model Face...I mean Chiseled Face. Very common to Caucasians but yes it is, why dont you try in Modelling especially with your new Locks ! Anyways that looks like a Neat Job from Dr.Bloxham !

Deplete Donor Hair is understandable, but what once it starts showing gaps between your Hair in the Back of your Head in your Scalp Donor Hair area ? will that not look cosmetically Bizzare ? It will, isnt it ?

Hello Everyone, So I have been basking in glory of my Hair Transplant for the last couple of years, It has been 6 Years now since I got my HT Done. As a result of my 2 Major and 2 Minor Hair Transplant Procedures, I have been told I am out of Donor Area. I have never used Body Hair Grafts not even a single Hair Graft. I wanted to ask you guys, for your opinion, How many Hair Grafts do you guys think would be required, lets say If I wanna fill in this area which I have marked ? And just in case, in the event of absolutely no Scalp Hair Grafts available Do you guys think Body Hair Grafts (Beard or Chest) can be used there, as I do not have any choice now, since I am not left with any Scalp Donor Hair. Do you guys think Body Hair can also be blended in that area as it is not a very big area ? I know Body Hair Grafts are not used near Hairline But since I am out of Scalp Donor Hair, I have no choice !! How many Grafts do you thin would be required to achieve that area ? Please comment guys ! Thanks !!

What Post Operative care did Dr.Lupanzula tell you ? anything special ? what care did you take ?

The reason I asked this is because on the 11th day I had a Hair without the shaft come out of the slit after the hair came out I could see a empty slit so I was wondering any which ways had I shampooed my hair, some of my hair grafts would have any which ways come out and that too it was the 11th day ! Do I need to worry ? Would that be considered a hair graft lost ?

Hi Guys, Wanted to know if anyone of you can give me a rough idea from all the doctors certified here how many of doctors advise for a full head shampoo like normally when one does while having a shower how many of doctors here advise a full normal head shampoo after 10 days of having the Hair Transplant ?

Yes I have been told similar things in the past that lets say for e.g in 1600 total Hair Grafts how much cosmetic difference can losing one Hair Graft make ? (3 actually so far)

Even I think so but you never know I have been told after 5 days the hair grafts become intact in the scalp and I am on the 7th day so not so worried but still it does make me anxious This is similar what I saw coming out

Hi Guys, This is something no matter how much one goes through before, raises anxiety level again everytime one goes through it. I am on my 7th day after my 2nd HT from Dr. Bhatti. Got my HT Done on the 13th Feb. Though I have also been given a Bandana to wear, because of the radical look that it gives, on certain occasions I do wish I could wear a Cap than the Bandana, so while attempting to wear the Cap given to me. There was this one dry looking hair graft which got stuck to the hood of the Cap that I wear. My worry is, Have I lost that Graft or what ? because there is this disputed opinion about whether it is considered a loss or not ? Because some say Hair Grafts get intact in the scalp after 5 days and I am on the 7th day ! Do I have a reason to worry ? Please comment guys.

It is the kind of Hairline I would like to have. If you say perhaps even a little lower than 6 Cms exactly how much 5.5 cms or 5.75 cms ?

Yeah very close, My feeling also was, it may be somewhere like 6 CMS !

Looking at this picture (Please see the attached Picture) how much do you think would/could be this guys hairline length measuring from in between his eyebrows ? 5 Cms ?, 5.5 Cms ?, 6 Cms ? or 6.5 Cms ? or may be even 7 Cms ? what do you guys think could it be ? There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of the hairlines that you have put here, though a lot of Hair Transplant Surgeons who only advocate of doing a widows peak hairline, there is no thumb rule that you cannot have a more round hairline, even in real Life if you see you will see numerous, numerous people having a round hairline, naturally, does that mean all those have a artificial looking hairline. No !! You can do a online search to find this and you would find numerous results ! Just like in your first youtube link here.

Hey Guys, Though after 6 months and 10 days of My Hair Transplant I kinda know how things go, but there was this incident that happened with me which is kinda freaking me out. Today I was wearing a Cap after I came back home my hair were all entangled in each other because of wearing the cap, and without getting it straight I went in directly for a shower and while I was having a shower I kinda forcibly was moving my hair backwards from my forhead with a little force and while I was doing this, couple of my hair got broken from the transplanted area. My questions is do I need to worry about this Hair broken I did not see any bulb along with it or no nothing, just plain strands of hair. Will these Hair Grow Back ? or are they lost forever ? I am freaking out guys :eek: Please comment. Thanks in Advance !
