  1. hi, thanks for reply Im currently using 1 tablet a day I think 1mg, me and the missis are thinking of having a kid and when I purchase propecia there warning not to take when trying to conceive so that was another reason maybe to stop, but at the same time keeping the hair is important, iv tried looking into it further and there does not appear to any risk, but I think if I stop il stop for good rather then going back after pregnancy as I feel the damage will already be done hair wise and it would be nice not be on any meds ideally, something il think about I guess
  2. hi, thanks for the reply and info, it was all frontal side areas that has the fue on, iv noticed its a bit thinner then it was maybe was a couple of years ago so im wondering if the propecia is working anyway- it did of course at the start and maybe has maintained it to a certain degree but the fact its thinner now im worried loosing anymore if coming off propecia altogether as it would seem the 2 transplants were a waste of time If id only end up shaving it off, of course im worried about stopping propecia but in the long run if I do and loose that native hair I think I would have to shave off to a grade 1 or get a further fue done but where does one stop...
  3. Hi im considering quitting propecia after 6 years, Iv had 2 hair transplants both fue surgery, I took propecia 1 year prior to first fue and 5 years after im not getting any side effects apart from maybe a slight decrease in sex drive, which is my thinking of coming off and also cause planning to have a baby im worried of course about hair loss when stop finasteride, I just wanted to hear mainly from those in a similar situation to me that's had a hair transplant and then dropped propecia altogether what's the best way to stop propecia i.e cold turkey or gradually coming off it by halving pills etc, and also how was your hair loss if any? and side effects if any? thanks for reading and look forward to hear some feedback
  4. p.s i wouldn't wear any helmet but you could try neck/custions or just pro pillows either side of you at night so you can't drift either side while sleeping, best thing is be cautious but don't look to much into it you'll be fine.
  5. i just had a small amount done 12 days ago and its always a bit nervous when sleeping just make sure you got 2-3 pillows propping you up and my recommendation is where socks at night, i didn't do this but one time i woke up and panicked as i lightly itched my head at the front while i was asleep, i think this was 2 or 3 days after and immediately woke up and realised i touched my head, its a nightmare sleeping until 10 days as i was always worried and couldn't sleep commutable to much, another tip if you don't wear socks is try sleep with your hands underneath the pillow thats propping you up that way should keep them clear from moving freely while your asleep, goodluck
  6. hi all, iv recently had a small amount of graphs aprox 4-500 11 days ago into the front just to thicken up, this is the 3rd fue session i have had in the last 2 years, the last 2 being minor ones for more density, my question is this time round iv got severe itchiness and red rash/scaly/lumps in my donor area this is my main concern I'm wondering if iv got some sort of infection that i didn't get with the first two procedures, theres also red faint marks on top and the sides of my head but this is not itchy, nothings noticeable much until you get up close and look and can see the donor is very sore, i didn't have any of this after the first two hair transplants, the receiptant area looks good and normal comparing it to my previous procedures, i have slight faint pinkness but its fading each day which i expect. i want to know if i should get this checked by a doc? or wait it out a bit more? unfortunately the hair clinics (london) a 3hour drive away from me... any sugesstions would be much appreciated p.s i took all the meds and finished them after 5 days, I'm trying aloe vera gel since day 5 but now day 11 and its the same if not more irritable and lumpy i can take pics if req. hope someone can advise me
  7. hi, thanks for the reply guys, its now 6 weeks and iv lost my hair at the front sides, so i wana switch from a grae one to zero, do you think this will be ok? iv not noticed any marks or dots etc when doing a one all over.
  8. thanks for the reply-i have done a number 2 all over but its growing again fast so will just number 1 it the weekend until i can grow it all the same length at the same time etc, i have a slight bit of shock loss at the crown area but the doner area seems perfect, thanks for the adivce, also the receiptent area is still a bit pinkish and its now been a month is the normal? i guess i have fair skin so have read it can take a little longer to heal-imusing aloe vera gel.
  9. hi just over 3 weeks after fue about 1500 grafts at the front side parts, i want to cut my hair so its all one complete length as my hair grows quick so it looks a bit odd now as the front is shorter then the rest, can i cut to a grade 1 or 2 all over? thanks paul
