  1. I hope this isn't extremely taboo to mention...how about a hair piece/system? At least for the crown? That would also leave more donor to transplant upfront and make denser. Another idea, after using as many graphs as possible all over, donor allowing, and then to shave shorter and add SMP. What is everyone's opinion on these two above options? Best of luck to you OP!
  2. Thanks for the pic! If I saw a guy like you out I would be super jealous of how awesomely thick your hair is. Any chance you could post a side or back angle pic? I feel these shots are where it really counts. The blending from fake to real.
  3. Great info Will88. Thanks for the response! It seems everyone's opinion of long/short hair is a bit different. Is your hair long as London's or shorter? Any chance you have a couple of pics to post?
  4. Really sad to say I agree with Number47, it just looks too… not sure what the word is, I guess too perfect, like said from the front. Wish they would have faded better, from forehead skin to hair (SMP). Sides look great though. Also, not sure if it’s just too dense or if it’s the overall shape. Just my opinion. Really glad you are happy with it, that is most important. Want to also say I really appreciate you sharing your experience. That takes bravery and it helps us all.
  5. Great, that looks good. Thanks for the update. Would you say it is best to leave the hair cut/style longer? A short cut I think would be hard to blend and keep blended. How long have you had now and how often to do you change/reattach? Are you active, sweat a lot? I am in the gym and play soccer often. I also hear the sun can change the color over time, or shorter time.
  6. I thank the hair gods every morning for hair concealers. Amazing stuff. I have tired both brands and really like the Caboki best. Seems to stick better even without hair spray. Toppick seemed to rub off easy, esp onto pillows. Neversaynever2, I believe it is going to work best on a little bit longer hair. I usually use like an 8 clip on top, 1 on sides, nice fade;) I have gone down to a 5 clip, which seems to show a bit more. And longer than 8 is fine, that you can pay attention to and when gets too long you'll know. When it does the hair on the light spot seems almost fluffy cotton ballish. Lol you'll see what I mean when u get there. Or just always keep a fresh cut;)
  7. Hasson & Wong > your favorite HT Doctor Wow these guys continue to impress me every time in everything they do. Not only with HT but now with SMP. Are they just extra good at taking pics and advertising or are they really the best of the best? I live in South Florida and am considering the travel to have their work performed when the time comes. Opinions please? Scar5, that video you posted "I wanna scream and shout and let it all.." is a COMPLETE joke compared to this. Wow, it really does depend on who performs the work.
  8. Hey fueonly, I got the same response, she was vacationing. Strange the whole operation comes to a halt when one lady goes on vacation. Anyway, I forgave that delayed response once again and asked to please contact me when she got back… 3-4 months later I guess she is still vacationing. Dakota, Kasia is the exact same person I was commutating with, or should I say to. Hairthere, let us know! Will temporary SMP be offered?
  9. Hey london1982, any chance you can put up some pics? I would like to see what kind of style you are going with. I am very active too and worry about sweating. I would just need a partial on the crown. Right now I just use hair makeup which doesn't look so good if I sweat too much or god forbid if it rains.
  10. I can't get Shapiro's group to respond to me. I emailed them a few times and got a couple of effortless replies. Couldn't even keep up a dialog. I basically just got the blow off. So strange. I am (was) an eager and serious customer. Pretty upsetting actually. I have no faith in a company that runs so unprofessionally. I guess I am waiting and hoping for someone else in the US with better customer service to pick up the "temporary" SMP soon. Dakota, how was your luck in contacting them?
  11. Hi fixstrip, Thank you for you post. I was so excited to hear Shaprio offered temporary SMP! But I have had the hardest time keeping up a dialog via email. Did you have any problems at all with this or the staff and getting info? I feel like I really have to push, send 2 or 3 emails before they will even give a half effort, sentence or two response. It seems very unprofessional which is so discouraging and upsetting to me. After a handful of emails I decided to send pictures (same email twice because of no response) and she responded asking for a picture of the spot I had just sent…! I explained I was worried and a bit upset, her response to that was “sorry I have been on my holidays and not checking emails”… I’m thinking wow okay, does anyone else work there or does the place pretty much shut down when this person isn’t in. I responded with “okay, please let me know when you get back”. That was close to a month ago and I haven’t received anything. Maybe I just need to keep pushing and e-mailing? I don’t think this is how a customer should have to act but maybe the hair industry is different??? Any help or suggestions from anyone would be great. Sorry to high jack thread.
  12. Thanks so much! Can you give me your contact info? I think this is so great! I have a longer hair cut but use concealer, which starts to become a pain, hiding from the rain, being careful at the beach/pool, sweating in the gym, etc. Also, really like the idea of temporary just in case something goes wrong, fades or just plain doesn't look right. Permanent just seem so...forever! Lol sorry to high jack
