Hello all I recently had a hair transplant on Monday 08.01.2024. I have been ultra cautious not to bump or put anything on my head. Today Thursday 11.01.2024 when I was flying home I stupidly lost concentration and knocked my head right on my transplanted area against the plastic near the window of the plane. I haven’t seen any blood but I did hit it quite hard. First picture are before hitting it yesterday

I'm currently on DUT e.o.d Does this look normal for the timescale ?

Hello guys I'm 4 weeks post op but have a lingering redness , I was just wondering if anyone could advise.ive been using aloe Vera and distilled witch hazel

The aftercare says I can start 5%minox after 2 weeks but Ive left It three The only reason I ask is I make my own fresh batches using minoxidol sulphate so I wasnt sure if that makes a difference you see , same again with the RU. My doctor was Dr ferunidi and he didn't mention RU Etc and I forgot to ask

I was just wondering what I can use after my transplant ( now 21 one days post op ) Normally I use RU , minoxidle and adenosine. Will this be ok to continue ?

Yeah this is what I thought with a wig... I'll just have to wear a hat which I do most of the time anyhow I'll just struggle at work lol

Guys I'm Booked in with Dr Ferundi in March and am now panicking about hiding the fact ive had a transplant. No one at all knows I am going for it, I'm going to tell my gf shortly but that will be it. I'm wanting to keep it hidden as much as possible so was wondering what to do ? I've thought about getting a full head wig ?

Hello After lurking for quite some time and asking the silly question I have no decided to take the plunge . A little about me , I'm 26 probs been loosing hair since 17-18 around my temples and forelock . I have hidden the loss with two temple wigs as such but I am sick of it ruling my life . I have been on propecia for about 3 years with Minox . I am also using 5 % RU and plan on adding the new CB . I am just looking for advice where I should start looking for a dr , I'm based in the UK . I hear good things from Belgium and its not to far from me . I don't mind traveling and like most people price is a factor but I know I only get one shot at this so I would rather get the best within reason .

What dose Dut did he go on ? did you not worry about the side effects of having such low DHT

Good evening I have been lurking for some time posting the odd question here and there I have now decided I will take the plunge for a fue transplant but have a few questions . I am trying to hold out for as long as possible , maybe waiting for the doubling technique to be perfected , are we close to getting anywhere ? I know some surgeons use body hair transplants ? I was wondering how advisable this is ? I shave most of my body hair so I would defiantly be willing to give it up . How do we stand if some of the big companies release a hair loss product that works ? Will it effect out transplanted area ? What is the transplanted density actually like ? Is this all about aesthetics ?

Thanks for the reply I see alot of people shave the entirety of their head I was wondering if I could keep the length ? I wouldnt dare tell people I was having a procedure Regarding RU I was more concerned about using it on the donor section . Have you heard about the new product called PSI? I would rather travel than get a procedure done in the UK . I have read alot of good things about turkey and India , I would like to get it done then be away for a few weeks to relax whilst healing

Good evening. Been a bit of a sleeper on this place with the odd post . I was looking for some Advice , I'm 25 , 26 in a few months . I am currently on propecia along with RU and custom minox . My hair loss is mainly temples . I am currently wearing two temple lace parts to fill them in but after one year I am sick of spending 4 hours once a week attaching etc. So my questions are My hair is about 5inches long , would I be able to keep the length or will I have to shave ? Would I be safe using RU? What would happen if some new hair loss treatment came along ? Now the biggy , I am based in the UK and would prefer a fue If possible . Who would you recommend ? For some reason I would really like to get it done in Thailand but id be willing to go to anyone
