Combination of FUE and then SMP would probably work better for a case like your. SMP can be used post to make thinner areas look thicker on top, including the donor region following FUE and any retro grade thinning you may have (above the ears).
Donor region still looks OK. You've probably got around 2000 grafts remaining for FUE. It appears only the transplanted hair is remaining now. Do you have any pre op pictures? Looks like roughly 4000 grafts are growing currently. Worth consulting with a top tier clinic to see how much usable hair you have remaining for a final pass. Most men have about 6000 - 8000 usable grafts in total.
A lot of hair transplant clinics simply do not have a surgeon who can perform FUT. It requires a lot of skill hence why many doctors only learn FUE as it is much easier!
This is true. Plus discount clinics tend to have high rates of transection. They may extract high numbers, but upto 30% of your precious donor supply will be trashed!
